Link List Onwers - Do you Accept Java Script Banner Rotators?

I use phpAdsNew on my link list, and I can't seem to use the php code on my domains that are on a different user on my box. I was just getting a site ready to submit, and figured I'd ask on java script banner rotator if you accept that.

No biggie, I'll just put a static banner if it looks like most don't like it, but it is on the inside of the site, not the index page, and none of the images are hardcore.

Thanks guys. For the record, you can use them on my link list, as long as not on index page with hardcore banners mixed in, MadHatter will get very angry, lol.

You can also use direct invocation with I frames if the PHP won't work for you. I don't bother with banner rotation on free sites anymore, but I used to use that method with PAN :)

Probably more reviewers would have a problem with I-frames then with a php include if you could get it to work. Seen other LL's say no javascript...

I'd just avoid it all -- on a free site -- to be on the safe side, but that's just me.

Yea, I think I will avoid it, thanks. Normally I don't even use banners too much, would rather use text links, lol

Javacsript is a no-no. Many places will not tolerate script tags on a page.

Using server side stuff (php, cgi, or other) to insert banners is acceptable, there is no way to see it. However, you would probably want to make sure that the banners being "traded out" are similar in size in each case. Some bots are a little bit picky.

RedCherry,

JavaScript will dramatically reduce your chances of getting listed. My advise, stay away from it on your free sites.
