NASCAR pics this past weekend

Real NASCAR fans would kill to get this close at a race ( right inside the pits ) what a blast.

Nate has a little glow about him since he handed a tire to a pit crew guy. Let's anything go to his head now. :)

I have to admit that I don't follow Nascar that much (something about driving in a circle that just doesn't seem right - LOL) But those pics do look very cool :)

I'll be on the field before the Bills game on Sunday, so assuming I'm not too hung over on Monday, I'll have pics of Marvin Harrison, Peyton Manning, Edgerin James & a few other Colts. I might take a few pics of the Bills players, too, seeing as this may be the last season they are in those unitform :D

oh yeah - all I watch it for is to see a big pile up :D

Very true, I think it's a New York thing to not be excited about driving in a circle, took me a while to get into it, the wrecks are the best :)

Great Pics!!
I didn't like racing until about 8 years ago.
The concept, drive fast, turn left seemed rather silly to me too.

But what's the object of golf? or bowling?
Wrecks will brought me into it, I watched a whole race for a couple of times, then started to see the science, technic, finesse, and skill.

GG - imagine trying to run the Viper around your block 10 times, and your times being within 1 second on a clear track. That's simply skill and practice.
Add to it the pit crew - get the Viper's gassed up and change the tires in 17 seconds.. :)

Just like most other sports, you have underdogs, set backs, people getting fired.

World wide I would have to say auto racing is 2nd to soccer.

That and Football are the two favorite activities here on Sundays - and believe it or not - it was my wife that got me into racing - I'd always be off working and watching football and Id here her cursing DJ for doing something stupid again - finally had to go see what it was all about and got hooked :)
Never been to either a real race or a real football game (hopefully that will change in Jan.) although I used to hang on the sidelines with the cheeleaders in Gainesville at the Swamp when I was 2 years old :)

Im telling ya if you dont care for NASCAR just go to one race you will love it I promiss, I didnt care for it either until about 4 years ago when I saw my first race. It has to be right up there with football to me.

Im kinda odd, I like different sports for different reasons, for example there is no sport in the world I would rather watch live than Hockey, on TV though I love Football and in second would be Nascar, I would rather watch grass grow on my front lawn than go to a Nascar race, too much round and round shit for me, would make it borderline boring like Baseball is live, if it wasnt for the booze I would never go to a baseball game.

Awesome pics!

I admit I didn't follow racing at all until I got married. My husband watches it religiously... what got me started? A really NASTY wreck and I've been hooked since waiting for them hehehe sick I know. I don't want anyone getting hurt, but the wrecks at 180 mph are intense!
