All Custom Text Links?
 

Im getting ready to build my free site for the day and am seriously considering creating my own links for everyone. I just think it looks so much nicer and the code is much cleaner with simle text links. I am a little nervious though as most of my lists state not to change thier text links, however their are so many other sites out there doing it? Comments / Suggestions?

Just use the same links and text anchor and you should be fine.

what link list are you referring to that says you must use the exact links they provide? Most just say don't change the text anchor and make sure you use both links (cat & index) when linking to them.

i dont think many of LL owners will agree to lose their favorite "porn,sex,xxx" keyword in anchor link or category name , but basicly you will have to keep pretty similar to original text

I think the general concesus is that custom recips are a good thing. In fact in the last thread many of the LL owners were saying that a slight alteration in the anchor text would actually be beneficial for them so they would support that.

I know I encourage them, makes the index page looks so much nicer on the eyes.

I think the next step in recip building industry is choose a few most suitable keywords for your LL (separate for index and cats) and let webmasters build their own custom recips using any of these kewords in any variations. This way is pain in the ass for WMs for sure) But looks most natural for SE's.

I dont think it would be at all, its not like you have to make a new variation every time you submit, you just do it the first time then your recips are done. :)

We'd be happy to list you on both our sites with custom links. :)

Custom recips are most definitely okay by me too...providing they still provide links to both category and index :)

Custom recips are fine with me as long as they are legible.
