anyone have any links to some and share some likes and dislikes

I don't know of a standalone software package the allows partner accounts, but you could probably custom code one if your script will allow it. I'm interested to see the responses here as well.

Creating partner accounts is part of my script.

yeah see mine is not, I have linkadmin and want to go to partner accounts and need a password script on my server, to stop the BS I have with public submitts..

So you're just looking to protect your submit page with a password script? That is definitely doable with a variety of methods. Are you looking for something with a partner account application page as well, or will you just require emailed info and a back end interface for you?

yes madmax something with a account application page that will email partners the password if lost and they can apply and I can approve and delete accounts

Sorry, I don't use Link Admin so I have no idea what is available for it :(

all I need is to protect 1 page from the public and tell the script what the url is from the form - I think |dizzy|

Are you just looking for a way to protect the 'friends' submit page?

I use LinkAdmin...and don't think it has any kind of 'partner' administration capability in its standard form. I'm sure some of the larger lists have either modded the original script or have addons for it.

However, there are lots of little password proggies to protect a directory/page. But, they don't actually administer mail or anything. That piece of the puzzle would have to some from somewhere else.

Which script do you use Surfn? I'm looking for a new script and have narrowed it down to 2... I think... lol

I just bought the TGP Rotator script last month and it's great, really easy to work with.

I'm not clever enough to modify any script though... wouldn't have a clue.

That's what I use for my TGP's slick little easy to use script...especially if you use cron tabs :D
