looking for TGPs - need advice
 

I'm starting to do gallery submits & other than some of the folks posting here, I'm finding it next to impossible to find TGPs that aren't just cjs or sponsor galleries - trying to wade through some of the TGP lists out there is quite tedious :)

I don't mind applying for PAs but I don't want to pay for them just yet, & I'm not spending $ on autosubmitters either so I need a good list.

does anyone have a list of good small TGPs to submit to that they'd be willing to share? I don't want tons of traffic, I'm looking for smaller TGPs that send quality, not quantity.

Yes, I'm getting that idea - spent some time yesterday going through some resource lists & had to shut down my browser twice :D

Well I guess I'll start with some of the folks I already submit to (thanks Surfn!) who also accept galleries & work my way up to partner accounts when I can afford them (and the traffic lol)

ponygirl, you'll probably find it hard to make money in tgp without investing money, but not impossible. Be VERY niche-specific. Put that niche through google (with thumbs, tgp, galleries, porn, etc) and create niche submit lists. When you have 3 to 5 galleries in each niche, apply for partner accounts. Be organised and put aside an hour (or whatever) a day to make applications and stick to it. To make money from your traffic this way I'd advise you promote email sponsors (so you at least make some money for your efforts) or try single girl niche sites (not some of the many BILLION single teen sites, but actuall single girl niches).

kristian - from everything I have been reading about TGP, I know you are 100% right. I am definitely doing my homework on this one because I've heard lots of stories :D. Doing freesites has certainly helped me figure out which niches I like & what sells for me, & I've been getting my feet wet doing some clean galleries for other places.

I just thought that before I started putting a lot of time & $$ into it, I could hone my skills with some smaller submissions. Not necessarily to make lots of cash, but just to get better at it.

I'm going to take your advice there about setting aside some time every day to get going on it & probably will start subbing to the LLs I know here that take galleries, too - see where that takes me :)

I had a reply all put together in my head and before I finished scrolling the posts Kristian stole my thunder. :) Excellent advice re: making money on TGP submits. That's just exactly what I do, post to smaller niche specfic TGP's, including my own.

I find additional TGP's to submit to two ways. I look to see who the sites I submit to are trading traffic with, then go to see if those sites may be worthy of a few test submits. I also keep an eye on the recips on galleries posted on those sites, and on the galleries submitted to my TGP sites.

I'm not getting rich by any stretch of the imagination, but I am earning more than I did at my last full time job working for someone else.

actually, I'm glad you posted that, Toby! It's nice to hear that you're doing well with it. I think that's an excellent idea about where to submit & that's what I'm going to do. Just looking for more ways to widen that traffic circle.

Plus I still have 5 minutes of the day that's not filled up :D

There is no money in submitting galleries any more unless you are willing to offer what it costs to get listed ...

I'll keep that in mind, every time I go the bank to deposit all the checks I get in the mail. :D

Oh, I see. And just exactly what do you consider to be "real money"?

Real money was 2 years ago when it didn't cost anything to get listed on worldsex, richard realm, the hun and out of one gallery you could get 20-30 signups, evening by using nastydollars free content ... that was real money, I agree if you go real niche there still is some money to earn but not like it was.
I paid for my last listing on The Hun and got 36 signups first day and 21 on ther second day and then a few after that, still good money but now it costs more to get it.

m@rk I would strongly disagree with your assumptions about TGP costs vs conversions.

With an account at BFP you can submit pics, movies and free sites. The rest of my sites are either pic or movie galleries only though.
