Video Editing/Optimizing on a Mac - what do you use?
Hey all,
What's the best software for Mac OS X for optimizing video clips. All I have now is iMovie and I can't get the files small and still looking good. They get small but look like total crap. What do you guys use or recommend? Thanks, Bill Tracy |
You want to put them up as mpeg-1 (mpg) files which iMovie does not do. Export them from iMovie as full resolution which will give you a huge many gig movie that will be either a .dv or .mov depending on what version of iMovie you have and if it is HD or not.
Then use this to make you .mpg. It also does the copyright image on the movie. http://www.popwire.com/product_info.php?products_id=2 There is a 30 demo of it. |
is there any program to rip dvds ???
this is one thing that always bothered me hooking up a dvd player to my computer when my computer already has a built in dvd player |

http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/mo...715&vid=182971 Also if you want a commercial solution that will also shrink down a DVD movie to something that will fit on a DVD that you can burn Popcorn does this as well. http://www.roxio.com/en/products/popcorn/index.jhtml |
