Wow, what do you think of the new easypic deal?

From Easy Pic:
---------------------------
We will start this new system within a few days and we are
convinced that it is the final solution against cheating.

* You can submit up to 10 galleries daily.
* Your galleries will be listed guaranteed the very next day.
* All domains will be accepted again, no blacklisting anymore.
* EasyPic traffic will even become much more valuable since
surfers experience no cheating anymore.
* One year 10 galleries a day for only $100 = $0.027 per submitted
gallery. Where can you get cheaper guaranteed galleryspots?
* If you purchase your submitpass before the 1th of December it
will be valid until 1-1-2005, so you get one month free.
* The usual submitpage will be closed in a couple of days.
-------------------------------

So, a hundred bucks for a years submissions to easypic.

Think I'll have to do it, even tho I only submit a fraction of the allowed galleries per week. I'm usually pretty happy with my easypic listings and sales.

Price seems fair enough.

Surfn 2003-11-22 05:39 AM

I have never submitted to them. If they have decent traffic (traffic that converts) then it sounds like a good deal.

spazlabz 2003-11-22 06:34 AM

This is an excellent idea and one I think all the larger (but not the biggies) should employ. I would do it with any TGP that send descent traffic amd doesnt skim for trades (or at least if they do its not out of control). The exspense could be staggered from month to month so guaranteed listings on 12 GOOD TGPs will get some serious productivity and it would only cost you $1200 a year. Very doable idea.

I'm still thinking about it. I'm probably going to wait and see how it works out for others first.

To be honest conversions from TGPing have really sucked for me lately. Just about all of my sales are coming from my own internal traffic and from my link lists so as of lately I've had real doubts about how viable TGPing even is anymore.

I saw that Bill.

I think it's a good deal. $100 for a year? Cheap if you ask me but don't tell that to Andre (Owner of EasyPic) hehe. However considering it was free I guess some people won't like it.

I will be paying the $100 and for those that don't I'll let you know how it works out.

Keyser Soze 2003-11-22 04:39 PM

I hate to pay for listings for making it $100 for a year seems like a fair price.
EasyPic makes a little cash, weed out all the cheaters and gives honest webmasters a chance to get listed without paying an arm and a leg :)
But there is only a handfull or so where I would pay for listings.

Tommy 2003-11-25 09:51 AM

I think its a great idea !!!!

I would like to see every tgp move over to paid submits

it would be so sweet to see all the cheaters get fucked

Ramster 2003-11-25 10:16 AM

What I like Tommy is when it is exactly for that, to stop the cheaters. Just like when someone wants a preferred account. At a few TGPs I had to show that my gallery was listed That Day on a well known TGP they liked before I could get a submit pass to their site. It's a trust factor and hopefully EasyPic will be true to his word of dumping the cheaters and giving honest webmasters a bit more traffic.

MrMaryLou 2003-11-25 10:46 AM

I dont think a 100 bucks is gonna stop the cheaters I am sure they will find away around it :( I am already seeing galleries coming thru that I know were blacklisted :(

Cleo 2003-11-25 10:51 AM

Can you say scammers, charge backs, stolen numbers, fake identities. :(

Look at what a hard time the Russian Submitter has with processors.

The price is reasonable, maybe it will work out. Like I already posted I'm taking a wait and see attitude. :)

Tommy 2003-11-25 10:59 AM

Maybe you could get around it with epassport cards/ visa gift cards but you would lose the 100 dollars after just 5 to 10 submits or a day or 2

MrMaryLou 2003-11-25 11:57 AM

Tommy these webmasters stay up all day and night just thinking of new ways to cheat, spoof, spam, hot link, find back doors and what not :( This is a good idea dont get me wrong but unless there is a massive central control it could get real pricey if every one started doing it and with all the skimming on 75% or more of the tgps its hard enough to make a buck on a gallery now.

No. More like the scammers will be charging back against your account, and you'll wind up losing it or having your funds frozen while they look into it. They blow more than $100.00/month on burning domain names to redirect traffic. Do you think they'll have any reservation about scamming you on a payment?

Tommy 2003-12-02 10:24 PM

thats exactly the point
lets say u use ibill to process the credit cards and the cheater charges back
well then hes just as fucked because he cant use that name or card at ibill any more

and getting credit cards under fake names is not easy
almost impossable
so either way that cheater is history

STEVEN 2003-12-02 11:21 PM

Either that, or the cheaters will now branch out into the credit card fraud business. Imagine having 50 submit accounts with fraudulent info. iBill will love you

go to sleep Tommy! and wake up and send me your pornstar links, buddy |bananna|

Tommy 2003-12-03 11:53 PM

sure thing buddy
and I would send those links....uhhh... where .....

I jumpped over to the paid submit only for over a year and it's been working out great. I keep intouch with everyone who submits and no cheaters. I love it.
I did also get that email from EasyPic and I thought it was a good deal too, so I bought one. What the hell, $100 for a year...

BUT.....we just made our 1st submission from our amateur AVS site AmateursArchive:
http://www.universalerotica.com/gall...3/recip14.html

And we get this in the mail:

_____________________________________________
Checking your submissions we found the following
violation(s) of our rules:

- Gallery not posted in a proper category

We have moved your submission(s) into the right category and
kindly ask you to pay more attention posting in the right category.
This is to the advantage of everyone. If we find you repeating this
we have the right to block your submitpass without refund.

Best regards,

EasyPic Controlling

Not amature, Hardcore

WTF is up with that? We submitted it as Amateur, because these are TRUE amateur submitted photo's, on a site called AMATEURarchives.
I thought the choice of the Amateur category was pretty right on.
If I loose my $100 because of bullshit like that, I will not be happy.

I agree with you, why screw with minor bullshit? They should spend their time in better ways. JMO

Tommy 2003-12-04 10:47 AM

Hey Steve !!!!!!!!!!
I will get those links right out to you
thank you

thats a warning. better watch out !!!!!!!!

Ramster 2003-12-04 11:14 AM

LOL

Andre can be a bit anal but many sites allow no hardcore at all in amateurs, teens and other sections. I get guys submitting to me putting Jenna Jameson fucking galleries in hardcore all the time and I just move it to Pornstars considering her popularity my surfers want to see known pornstars in the pornstar section.

LOL at Tommy, you've been warned. hehe

STEVEN 2003-12-04 04:18 PM

You would think they get more than enough glossy pic hardcore submits to fill that section 5x/day, and leave your post in the amateur section.

Well, I dont like to tell anyone how to run their site. Also, you would have to bet heavy that Andre isn't looking at submissions - probably has a nice review team sorting things for him.

Bill 2003-12-04 04:54 PM

No hardcore in amateurs seems a bit over the top, but andre has always been kinda fussy. Still, no hardcore in amateurs... sheesh. must be a boring list of galleries, lots of semi-dopey girls grinning at the camera. And a regular hardcore listing really isn't the place for amateur hardcore galleries.

Nice to see that they are giving out warning letters for category violations. One of the concerns with pay-to-submit is always the fairness with which the program is administered.

So far I don't have any complaints with easypics program, altho I haven't analysed the numbers yet.
