Problems with getting listed at Link-o-Rama ::to GreenGuy::
 

I have just checked if my free sites were listed on LoR and found out that there is no even one of them in the category directory... I post almost everyday so there should be few of my sites there.

I'm regularly listed with PB, WetPlace, Hoes, SmuttGremlins and more... Why my sites aren't accepted at LoR?

My submitter name is: Nuggan
My domain is www.picprovider.com
I hope you can easily find all my freesites in your admin section. If not please let me know and I will list them...

Nuggan here is the problem whe your whois information shows http://www.whois.sc/picprovider.com your nameserver is pointed to NS1.PICPROVIDER.COM ??? why hide your hosting?

I also looked at the other domains on the IP & they also have odd name servers which do not lead to the host.

Unfortunately, many of the virtual hosts are now adding "private label" nameservers with their virtual hosting as a "free perk". :(

MadMax that maybe true but its sure not helping :( With all the funky crap going on with masked freehosts and hosting companies who allow shit I cant even type here :( Bogus whois information is a sad trend :(

I'm with ya. I had private nameservers way back when before I found out it was creating problems for me. Back in the day I just thought it was a cool bonus. I think we're going to have to leap forward one way or another, but it's sure difficult to do when the playing field is always moving around.

I still have a lot of domains with custom nameservers. My host made it sound like such a cool thing when we switched over to a new server last year. Even bought a domain to use solely for the ns. Fortunately, I haven't had any trouble getting listed. Perhaps because most folks know me...thanks everyone |thumb

That said, it's sounding more and more like I may have to change those out soon.

For someone relatively new on the scene...it's going to be very difficult to get listed with custom ns. Still think there's the scent of a new rule in the air |dizzy|

I have been always setting "custom" nameservers. It seemed natural for me. I didn't hide anything and I didn't know I would do it by setting ns like that.

I don't use virtual server. I have dedicated server with 2 of my friends. I don't know much about "tech" issues so I still don't know which name servers I should use to make all info visible and available for you to check.

This is our main server domain: ownsthis.biz. In InterWorx control panel it sais: Managing Server: server1.ownsthis.biz
So - if I change nameservers to ns1.ownsthis.biz and ns2.ownsthis.biz will my server info be visible in whois.sc results?

The more I look at all your domains pointing at different name servers and now this one ownsthis.biz is not even on an ip pointing to sagonet :( Something just dont seem right to me here :(

Might wanna also take a look at the surrounding IPs :) It would probably explain everything

There are a lot of domains on this server -this is true. Most of the domains are used for seo so we don't care what nameservers we use. As far as I know Google doesn't check domains like LL owners.

If it comes to ownsthis.biz. I was said that this is the main domain on the server. I have no idea what it means in practice. I have just told you that it's the main one in order to help you find the server info. It didn't help, ok.

You said ownsthis.biz is not even on an ip pointing to sagonet. How can I prove that a domain is attached to a particular server? I mean how do I do it technically? I see the whois.sc results for my sites and yes, you are right, there is nothing about sagonet as my server. What should I change to make it clear and visible? Should I just set name servers to ns1.sagonet.com / ns2.sagonet.com?

In looking at this whole thing with your domains every corner leads to a dead end :(

First off since most people dont have access to the best part of whois - here's one of the sites I was talking about - http://www.stuffedbitches.com/ - kinda reminds me of something :) But then who am I? Im sure Jay might have a "little" problem with this type of stuff

Second the xfreesitez.com that keeps showing up is another submitters domain( I guess???) since that domain is submitted by Blnt - and I know his nameservers are also that ownsthis.biz - and since his IPs are above and below this IP - Id say we the makings of a "group submitter" problem :)

Also all the SEO sites are copyrighted with Bld - Blnt Productions and most of the links go to their copies of others reviews sites - but I guess thats the trend these days :(

Personally I don't see big problem here:) There was a topic where I have posed all the domains I personally own and told you what I use them for. I didn't even thought about consequences of creating my own nameservers in the future. The whole thing is that we got this server from sagonet and I typed ownsthis.biz as the main domain in the form which I filled out during order process. What I am saying is that all the name servers should be pointed to ownsthis.biz 66.111.56.200 and I assume that only the IP can get you to sago anyway? I am not the programmer and i barley know linux so I use InterWorx and I dont know how to configure this machine in other way. I know that you already checked all the domains and you know which are mine and which are not.

Linkster said something about group submitter problem. You already know me guys, and You know that I try to obey the rulez and don't do any other shit. Oter thing is that I dont need to submit more than One (1) freesite a day, you can check your back logs:) I have school and other things to do. This is not true. Not all of the sites are copyrighted by him. I have my own sites and he has his.

I told you at the beginning that I'm not alone on the server. So what Blnt has to do with it? I do my staff and he does his.

How do I set the nameservers to point to my server. And why should I do it if you can easily go through our IPs? 200-209 to make it easier.

The whole reason for whois is to find out who your are and where your hosted and I gotta say this is a mess and the more ya look the deeper the BS gets here :(

OK, I understand this. Now, do you personally know how to attach a domain to a server so you get a server name info after filling a domain name at whois.sc or any other site like this?

Im gonna get out of this one - my basic take is that there is a total of 3 people either sharing one server - or some amazing similarities between three different servers with domain names, interlinking between all three and the real IP reversing to the same location - notably all three names are also in the same province, with almost identical addresses, same postal code etc - but could just be 3 friends - Checking back when all of this started on some of the older domains - most of the whois was faked using names like Tom Jones etc - and I thought we had cleared all of that up - and Blnt has always been a good submitter - at least for the sites I took.

The real problem is that when people start sharing their IPs and servers with their friends - and start doing all of this interlinking with pages that look identical, text that is the same between domains and owners etc - it gets to the point where our reviewers give up and just blacklist all - cause its easier.

Most importantly - anyone that copies other peoples sites (especially other LL owners) usually get blacklisted with no chance for an appeal - and that has been true as long as I can remember.

Yeah, I know what you mean, but the fact is that you already know me and I think that I kind of earn your trust. Yes, we do live in one province and near themselfes thats the fact, and I know that you can check which credit cards were used for purchasing all the domains, you can check it also. All my info on my domains is up to date for over a year cause I dont wanna mess with you and I know the reules here. Other thing is with linking, you know what is it for and you know that I collect links. I bet that you also noticed that all site designs are made in different way. (you propably know my site [jizzbomb.us/le/signup.php] where I list all my domains]The thing with different ns and ips is to separate each perosn on our server do all the stuff on his not mine or someone else account. And the whole hiding thing... well, I don't try to hide anything, you know where I live, my icq number my e-mails and phone numbers or address. I bet noone is trying to hide anything cause there is no need to do things like that in the community like GG&Jim. At the end, if there is anything I can do to clarify who I am or what I have I will do it. I remeber the irc chat and MrMaryLou audtion about trust and being trusted and I really know what is it all about. Amen:)
