Damn, I went to bed last night right after the 3/4 radio show and slept like a baby. I feel good and am thinking of going outside today for the first time in weeks. Except for Doctor's appointments, I have been homebound and I am really tired of it.

I keep on thinking that I need to go fuel the generator and this morning while in the kitchen I found myself counting how many appliances I had on. I think I will celebrate and go buy some frozen pizzas to bake in the oven today.

New display should arrive today. It was suppose to arrive yesterday but the FedEx site said it was stuck in Boca Raton I guess due to traffic being such a mess with so many traffic lights broken. So much for FedEx guaranteeing overnight delivery.

Seeing the hand doctor this afternoon and have a few errands to run but other then that I will be around working.

Espresso and grid supplied electric is now being served.

This new trend of burning cars is coming over from France, so far Antwerp is only a little affected, 5 or 6 cars were burned. Stupid kids, don't even know why they're doing it for...

Fonz - saw on BBC Newsworld that most of the car burnings in France is coming from outraged Muslim youths. Still don't know why though.

The radio show was just starting to get interesting to me when it died |shocking|

Its a nutrition and health beverage much like the one you talked about a while back. It works for me in many many ways. I don't know if you know this about me but I had a bleeding ulcer, colitis and IBS for a couple of years. I still think that Gg just got pissed and kicked something - and that is what killed his connection. The entire time I was listening, I was thinking "how odd. I get most of my traffic from GG and I've never purchased advertising here." ;)

It's a somewhat chilly morning here in southeastern Canada, aka New York. But the sun is 'a shining so we should warm up any time now.

Had a slightly amusing event happen at the job site the other day. While my friends and I were painting the house, two older men (mid-60s) were finishing up a small mudroom addition. The older of the two, Vic, (and the only one with carpentry skills) never said a word. Vic is an unsually quiet man. The other guy, Bob, was a talker. He wouldn't shut up. Well, Bob's son is in the secret service on the presidential detail and was talking about meeting W's new dog Beasely the other day. Keep in mind - my boss Tom lost his nephew in Iraq over a year ago and there isn't a day that his name doesn't come up. Tom asks Bob what his secret service son thinks of GW. Bob replied that his son doesn't say much really, and can't, but that he seems to like the Bushes. He started saying something else about GW when Vic, the silent wonder, practically yelled out "He's a complete fucking asshole, that's what he is!". Then he went back to work and didn't say another word.

According to the weather site, it looks like today is the last of the 70 degree days I'm going to have for awhile.

I raked leaves for about 1.5 hours last night. So my bad shoulder is screaming today.

I used to think that leaf blowers were tools for the lazy.

I have re-thought that.

Useless - based on the topic of the show, my connection cutting out with 15 minutes left & then me linking to the wrong archive on the Radio Show page before I logged off for the night, one might think there is a conspiracy. It's funny how bad timing & fat fingers can get these stories started :D

My step-daughter is having surgery on her knee tomorrow, so I'll be busy all day today getting stuff that needs to be done tomorrow done today (if that makes sense)

There were reports black helicopters flying southeast over Buffalo and there was a puff of smoke from a grassy knoll near the poolhouse right before the show was cut off.

I've caught myself twice this morning thinking that I needed to fuel the generator. |shocking|

Generator is put away. Fuel stabilizers has been put in its tank and the remaining three 5 gallon cans of gas. If my hand wasn't in a splint things would be almost normal.

I see FPL working on my street again. Hopefully they will not do anything that knocks my power back out again. They do need to still string wires to the street lights I guess after they replace the street lights since all that is left of the one in front of my house is the pole with a tree limb hanging off of what was once a light.

Sure do miss my cable modem. Glad to have this backup ADSL and I remember when I thought 1.5/128 was fast. :D
