New 23" display is here
 

It arrived today. :)

I seem to like the resolution set to 1600x1000 but it goes up to 1920x1200.

It has so much space that I don't even really need the 17" screen on my laptop but it is still nice having two displays.

I've got my mouse on top of a book so that I can use it with my hand in a splint and my new kitten Katrina seems to really enjoy the towel that I have also had to put down due to the splint on my hand.

good to see I am not the only one who has a place on their desk for a cat to sleep.

Now if I could just teach her to build and submit and maybe do reviews. :D

Wow cleo doesnt all those wires bother you just hanging on the desk like that.. maybe go to the auto parts store and get some plastic wire tubing to hide all those wires in.. nice monitor

I like my wires out for easy accessibility. Nothing worse then having to fight with wire ties and stuff just to change something around. You should see my garage. :D

What got me was how much the price jumps from a 20" to a 23" but after using it for 24 hours it was definitely worth it.

I was open to any brand monitor but the Apple was the cheapest in this size. I paid $1000 for it from the sale section of the online Apple store. It does have two built in USB and two FireWire ports which is a nice extra bonus.

But I think your cat can use your cords as a nice hiding place ;)
