My Pussy Just Won't Shut up and its driving me CRAZY!!!

OMG, my cute little 6# abyssinian female went into heat a few days ago, and we don't have her appointment to get her spayed until the 15th. She is going around the house whining non-fucking stop wanting to mate.

Unfortunately, my Male 13# bengal has tried to mate with her, numerous times, but he is neutered, so he can only do so much, lol. I swear I'm about ready to set up a video camera, it is funny as hell he kinda shifts back and forth on his hind legs trying to figure it all out, lmao.

Today though, he is getting so frustrated with her constant demands, as we all are, now he just makes like he is getting on her, then jumps off and runs and hides somewhere.

I want to run and hide somewhere, her whine just goes right thru ya. Loki is now on my bookcase here in my office with his face turned away from the room trying to be invisible.

I posted on an Aby board asking how long they stay in heat, I'm hoping it is only for a few days and won't continue until her appointment. I read some cats stay in heat until they are pregnant or spayed. |dizzy|

And how many of you thought I wasn't going to talk about my cat? |waves|

It's a shame they don't have other forms of birth control for cats. Your poor pussy will never know the joys of having pussy and cock at the same time.

LOL redcherry! I saw the thread and thought maybe you were having multi orgams this morning :D

My dog just got out of her heat. She doesn't howl like cats do but she sure makes a mess! I had to buy doggy pads and all....GROSS!

eeeewwwww! I bet that is a mess, she doesn't seem to have that issue. But her whine is kinda like the sound a newborn baby makes, and it is almost non-stop, I woke up 1/2 hr ago and she is running around crying guess it hasn't stopped today. |cry|

I hear ya, SirMoby, I always hate to do that to pets, but after this experience, I'm not feeling so bad about it anymore, lol.

I'm almost afraid to ask what you do with them?

Cleo 2005-11-10 03:10 PM

oh boy, was afraid it was something like that. Maybe MadHatter can help me with that. :(

Cleo 2005-11-10 03:17 PM

Think of it this way… at least it isn't oral pleasure that you need to give them to shut them up.

Which reminds me that I need to get my newest one fixed as soon as she is old enough.

HoneLynn 2005-11-11 12:21 PM

Oh, I feel for ya. I had two cats (sisters) that came into heat at the same time. I had to wait for their appointments as well and having two of them yowling was enough to make me eligible for the men in the white jackets and the padded room.

We are THERE. Poor thing have her locked in a room with food, water and litterbox, I'm about ready to take Cleo up on what she says, I don't know if I can take 4 more days of this.

Cleo, uh, any length of time you have to do that, is it just a quick put it in and out? I've never q-tipped a cat before, and I don't want to hurt her.

This is just weird asking all that, but her yowling along with our ISP saying "the upgrades are supposed to be done mid month" well THANKS TO YOU it doesn't help when I'm intermittant dial-up fucking slow getting my work done. I'm just about ready to go postal. |angry|

Cleo 2005-11-11 01:15 PM

I just stuck it in her and walked away. Had to do a few more times that night.

One of those things that you learn living around farms.

Cleo 2005-11-11 01:24 PM

Cats are unique in that they don't ovulate until after they get screwed. Once they ovulate they shut up for awhile but then they are ready to go again the cycle is repeated. This can result in multiple kittens with different fathers or in the case of a Q-Tip a very confused but quiet cat.

Whatever normal is it is highly over rated anyway

cybersexhound 2005-11-11 09:24 PM

My cat usually lasts a week or so when she goes into heat - cant stand it she humps everything as far as the qtip goes - OMFG! I cant believe that shit

RedCherry 2005-11-11 11:15 PM

I was taking pics of my office to show my sister, we built new shelves yesterday, and the cats were chasing each other while I was trying to take the pics, got this one snapped.

shows the size difference between my Bengal Boy Loki on the left, and BuBastis on the right, lol

Before Bu went into heat, they kept a good distance between them (and before my new shelves, lol)

After she goes into heat, they are best budies and trying to figure out how to get into mischief on my desk.

I love my shelves, we beat up 1x6's and antiqued them, then added rustique to the brackets. Hate those pressboard monstrosities I used to have, we have banished them in the garage, lol.

Yay for spaying and neutering!

No matter how much the kitty drives you nuts, though, DO NOT have her spayed until she is totally out of heat.

When she-cats are in heat (maybe other animals, too), their ovaries swell up in some way that really implants them in the body. If she is spayed in the condition, there could be parts of the ovaries which do not get completely removed with the basic slice-and-scoop surgery. What that means is that she will be sterilized, but will still go into heat! My mother did this to her cat, finally broke down and got her fixed while she was in heat, lied to the vet, and ended up with a yowling, presenting, gooey kitty anyhow. Years later, kitty finally got a follow-up surgery to remove the remaining ovary part, which was covered in scar tissue and took about 4 hours of surgery to locate and remove. Kitty has a massive wound and was in pain for a while.

Oh, and don't cheap out on the meds: your vet should offer a liquid painkiller for your special girl after her surgery. |thumb

OMG, I had no idea, I will have to ask the vet about that, I'm going to go crazy if I have to wait longer, esp. if she is the type of breed that doesn't go out of heat until she is fixed or pregnant. I'm still waiting to hear back from some Aby breeders that question as to how long this breed goes into heat.

fetish1 2005-11-12 12:11 PM

I know when one of our girls had to be fixed, the vet asked how long it had been since she was in heat. He wouldnt do it if it had been quite recently as he said something about the cervix or uterus becomes "brittle" during heat and takes time to become pliable again after their cycle. |confused| I asked how to live through the howling, and he backed up what Cleo said. He told me to use the old Q-tip remedy to fake her out till we could get her back in!

As BAD as I hate to admit it, IT WORKS! |cat

I guess I"m going to have to go buy some KY Jelly, never had a use for it before, lol. Poor girl. Going to call the place that is spaying her and tell her the bad news tomorrow, they do it every two weeks, I will try and reschedule it for end of month, hopefully that will be long enough after she stops. :(

Cleo 2005-11-12 12:26 PM

Not sure about house cats but big cats have a bone with a sharp barb in their penis that they actually hook into the vagina.

cybersexhound 2005-11-12 12:40 PM

those cats are amazing looking! very cool
