Yeah me too :(
|
Yep, the form asks for just the right information for them to enter your account.
|
And I am getting them at email addresses that I don't use with ePassporte. Greenie has one too.. We have an email address that we both get and we received one of these to it.
|
I get them for bank accounts that I have and don't have, Amazon accounts, credit card accounts, Etrade account, pretty much everything and anything. It's really fucked up.

Now I just click "report as spam" to my spam filters. :( |

I haven't recieved it yet.
There were a some phising mails 6 months or so ago and ePassporte had the domains shut down with 15 minutes of them being notified about it. |

So the basic rule is: if it offers to send you to the site via a clickable link, it's automatically a bogus phishing scam. I hope that ePassporte adopts this rule if it hasn't already. |
I filled in the form, now I can't get into my account.
So, don't fill it out. It doesn't work. |
This is the reply from Chris Mallick about this:

Haven't gotten one of those for epassporte yet. Is that a sign that they've become really big.
:) |
Keyser - thats the important part and the best part about Epassporte - they will NEVER email you except within their system in your account - never to your outside email addy

Pump-and-dump spam domains go silent after botnet closure "Spammers register pump-and-dump spam domains for use in spam runs. These domains are commonly discarded after a few days. " http://www.theregister.co.uk/2005/11...m_domain_dump/ |
still didn't get it, but thx a lot guys.. good to know...
|
Haven't seen the one for epass yet, but tons of others.
Yep, never fill out anything in an email that requires important information. Far too many scammers and cheats out there...cocksuckers |angry| |
Hi all! I've received similar mail around March this Year (with the url & form & everything just slightly different text) & I wasn't lazy so without clicking to URL I call them to ask what the heck it's all about!? Strange thing was that I've received same mail to my epass acc. & private mail used only for epass.
To keep a long story short it was a spam scam that's out for Your username & pass so I'm thinking this may be the same thing here. So watch out for that!!! oh forgot to say: if You by any chance use & fill out the form make the call to epass center & let them change Your password just in case. |
Suprisingly I haven't gotten it yet, I'm sure I will soon though.
Thanks for the heads up. |
I get them too.
|
Log into your epassporte account. You'll see a message about it before seeing your cash and stuff
