I´m a possible cheater

I submitted a gallery some days ago to richards-realm, theshemp, worldsex and some others.

When i looked into my stats today, this gallery had amazing clicks. So I checked it and recognized the following problem: two of the movies weren´t linked to the movies as they should. They were linked directly to the sponsor. I checked the gallery in adobe golive on my comp and everything seemed to be alright. Links pointed to the movies as they should. Even in the preview function in the browser everything worked. So I had a look at the source code and there was a snip of the sponsor link code in between the movie links.

I couldn´t get rid of it, no matter what I tried. So I deleted the gallery and built it with a new template. Now everything is fixed but I wanted to let the tgp owners know and maybe somebody uses golive and is interested in this information. in the future I´ll check galleries online to avoid those problems.

Sorry for any inconvieniences. |huh

I would email the tgp owners seperately - and say the same thing you did here as if you changed the links Im sure their programs would have already caught it

Thank´s for the hint, I´ll do so. have already sent e-mails to the big ones, but will tell every tgp owner.

so maybe I should have posted a webmaster referral code? :D

I wanted to make sure two things. First of all I wanted the tgp owners let it know and of course i wanted to point to the problem. I checked all galleries with golive on my local machine and there everything worked well.

But now I´ll check them online after uploading the galleries. Obviously golive produces some tricky code sometimes.

I try to do honest work and so I´m not willing to ruin my reputation by hiding the problem.

As Linkster said, you should email them all right away. Many TGPs automatically ban for changing the page after submission, so you'll want to explain yourself. We all make honest mistakes and you were "on the job," but your software let you down. You get big points for standing up and saying something...real cheaters never do :)

A word of advice: always preview in IE and Firefox |couch|

Yes, but preview only works with the uploaded galleries. It was a simple which I didn´t recognize. In the local browser preview it didn´t touch the movie links, but online this damn messed up everything.

I´m thinking of dropping golive and code manually again. But well, I´m a lazy bone...
