My First freesite.. is it ok?
 

This is the first time I've attempted to do a free site, and I just wanted to see if its something people would list, and get any constructive criticsm possible before i go trying to submit it.

I know the design is nothing special, but is it listable? |loony|

I would list it if the full size pics were smaller. Somewhere close to 40k :)

Well too me that doesnt look too bad, but with text links like "FREE PREVIEW VIDEO HERE" and "See all these babes and many many more, sucking cock from your point-of-view!" are pretty much blind links.

I see 4 sponsor links on the index. Maybe some LLs will not like your banners that look too much like thumbs.

Your definately on the right track though and decent for a first shot IMO.

Is 'Free Video Preview' a blind link though? If you check out our tour, theres 3 free videos on that first page, so its not like its a lie.

If that is the only text you have, even though truthful, it is blind. You are much better off with something like "Check out the tour and preview free videos at My POV BJ!" so that you say the name of the site in there. I see on the index page your block of text has the name of the site, might want to make that stand out a little more. Also remember CLICK HERE in addition to other sales text is helpful. |thumb


Maybe you have changed that since you started post, because I see three links on the index.


Surfn, why 40k? I have sites with much higher image quality then that, usually they are around 50 - 80k mark, and they seem to get listed just fine. I hate crappy compressed full-sized pics, and I won't do that on my site.

BeaverBob, I would, however, cut down the size of your pics pixel wize. I see 700x1050 pics. Cut them down to 700 max on the long side, and that will also decrease your file size in the mean time.
Most link lists if they have a pic size minimum don't have one that is over 700 on the long side, some are as low as 500.

If you use photoshop, try saving them at 50 - 60% and see how they come out quality wize (these are pretty high quality pics, so may reduce down and retain quality).

Hope that helps, I'd list the site at our link lists.

Because my surfers want them to load fast. I would hate to lose any of my surfers because they had to wait forever for a full size pic. :)

If he reduces down to 600 or 700 on the long side without any compression he should be there. I do NOT list over compressed or grain pics. They get listed somewhere else.

I'm agree with Virginia about the size of the pictures.

IMHO: Very good site, as for me I don't see any blind links there. The link like "NEXT GALLERY" will be blind link. But the link "FREE PREVIEW VIDEO HERE" is not a lie. Many paysites have a tour with free videos.
