I believe there is a way to disable just one webmaster from using the PMs

We are new to link lists, and to the Greenguy forum.

We figured a private message was a good place to ask someone about making a private deal. Several people agreed, and we are now exchanging hard links.

Greenguy has let us know that PM'ing people about deals is not the correct use of the PM system.

We apologize to anyone who was offended, and will not PM deals on Greenguy again.

And don't not use the PM system, it just that the message you sent came across as unsolicited spam & we don't want the system to be abused.

All of my PMs sent to anyone are unsolicited. :D

PMs are all on and fine. And they will stay that way.

Jim, you can let webmaster to use PM if he has XXX messages for example, then newbies will be unable to use PM system.

The real spam threat is somebody harvesting all the ICQ numbers with a bot.

I've seen that methond of spam used more often then the PM spam on various forums.
