I'm in the playoffs of the other 2 leagues, so I can still claim 2 t-shirts :D

Not to be nitpicky, but shouldn't the "playing for pride" bracket be #5 vs #8 and #6 vs #7?

Torn Rose 2005-12-06 09:55 AM

I agree but ESPN doesn’t always make sense, the playoffs are decided by them and I am still trying to figure out how MasterC got into the playoffs at all since I don't think he's changed his lineup in 4 weeks and even had guys "out" in his starting lineup.

Greenguy 2005-12-06 10:11 AM

MasterC was 2-1 against Linkster & 1-1 against Ramster, but had more points in the 2 games against Ramster (143-133) so that's probably why he won the tiebreaker since they were all 5-8

They do that in Hockey too - no idea why, but like it matters that you're fighting for 5th :D

It's amazing how the loss of 2 key players, one to injury and one to pettiness -- T.O. -- can turn an unbeatable team into a shitcan.

Oh well there's always next year...

***Greenguy and Jim***

Collet defeats KatVixen for the “Greenguy and Jim Championship”

***Gabbo 2005***

Greenguy defeats TJchuck for the “Gabbo 2005 Championship.”

***Greenguy and Jim Jackassery 2005***

Greenguy beats Torn for the “Greenguy and Jim Jackassery 2005 Championship”

Congrats to both for winning it all, I know this is Collet’s second year in a row to win a title and at least the third year in a row for Greenguy ( I do not remember if these are titles #4 or #5 for him)

Both Collet and Greenguy where down last week and both came from behind with a huge game from KC’s Larry Johnson who got them both 40 points yesterday which was just too much for KatVixen and I to over come, Greenguy had a very large lead over TJChuck from last week that was way too much for anyone to over come.

Once again, congrats to both.

Ramster 2006-01-02 09:54 AM

Congrats!!!

Since Linkster insn't hear to defend himself I just wanted to add that I played Linkster in all 3 pools and kicked his ass in all 3. :D

Greenguy 2006-01-02 09:58 AM

3 years, 5 leagues, 4 titles - I'm New England :D

Now if I can just win some money in the other league I'm in, I'd be able to really brag |thumb

One of my New Years Resolutions is to have a Fantasy Draft that doesn't suck. :(

Congrats to GG & Collet, repeated success is no fluke.

MrMaryLou 2006-01-02 10:22 AM

Congrats to the winners :)

Can't believe I missed this!

Had I known this thread was here, I would have chimed in earlier!

I thought for sure I was screwed because dillon didn't play and I had him in my lineup.

Having Steve Smith get 1 point one week and dillon have 0 the second week, I thought for sure I had lost. I didn't even follow the scores at all last night until I saw Dallas getting scored on. I thought for sure Kat was going to win with that lineup she has.

This is my only league. Thanks Torn for inviting me to play last year. I havn't ever had so much fun! It also helps to have won both years I have played |headbang|

I need to visit the boards more often & start contributing here so you all know who I am :)

Happy New year everyone!

Colette
