Just incase anyone is looking for me...

Cable has been out since 7:00 AM or so, which means no internet & no TV. There are workers going up & down the street replacing things on the polls & unless they are amplifiers (because the signal out here sucks balls & we don't get a lot of the goodies that the Adelphia offers like In Demand & a couple of HD channels) I'm gonna fucking scream |angry|

This is turning out to be a wash of a day, as I had so much shit to do & this fucking AOL Dial-up is killing me |banghead|

I'm gonna attempt to read the board a bit, but if you need me, it might be best to find me tomorrow when I'm in a sightly better mood |club|

I've had my cable go out a few times too and I know EXACTLY just how frustrated you must be! I don't even really care about CABLE TV all that much - its the net I can't live without! Hopefully we'll see you back online tomorrow, big dog. |thumb

I am use to it as a cloud in the southern skies will bring me down.

My cable has been in and out as well. Only for a few minutes at a time but it still sucks when you use a cable phone. Ours is because of upgrades too.

Just an fyi...recently, I was exchanging mails with friend who's an adelphia customer in California and we noticed my mail wasn't getting through to him. After a couple days of trying different things, we figured out it was because my mails had affiliate links in them. He called adelphia...they of course denied filtering his mail...until he kept going up the food chain. Eventually, a supervisor admitted adelphia had recently started filtering all mail...whether the customer asked for filtering or not.

Those are the reasons that I steal internet access from unsuspecting neighbors. Who would pay for such bad service? :D

waaaah cable heay, i have cable too, now you know its on their side , now deal with those fuckers when they try to confinche you the problem is at your side and say our techie can only be at your place in about 5 days, well they never say that to me again, i flip and freaked and get so evil when my cable is down, no net no telly..........no work to be done which should have done, nagging kids who want telly and got no telly, so i perfectly know how you feel... i hope the problem is fixed soon:)))))

Cable, Satellite, the Phone company... they are all legal criminals IMHO... MFs..

My adelphia was great until the 'upgrades' now it's real slow (for cable) most of the day and only fast in the middle of the night. Now that Time Warner is starting to take over control, god knows what's going to happen.

Of course if I take sometime off from reading the board I might be in a better mood. Where are we recruiting this new crop of knuckle heads? That was a rhetorical question btw :D

I'm back - speed looks to be a bit better (of course, the speed tests are conducted on their servers - lol)
