I have been adding them to all of my freesites, but the way I do this, is I just use the same file I generated once, and change the domain name in the file.

Is this ok? or am I supposed to register each site with them?

Having read that, I think I'm ok. They even offer a better way of doing multiple sites, but I think I'll stick to my way, better to keep sites seperated, just in case I'll sell any at some point.

I do that same thing. Every one of my sites has the tags in them. The only problem I have had with them is that some verification scripts seem to think they are external links which adds to the count. I also digimarc the photos as adult content as I have heard that some child protection software can read the digimarc encoding.
