Another Good Month... 45 Signups/1251 Visitors... $800 +

Happy Holidays! Its cold here in Chicago, and it will be cold in NH when I go to visit for Xmas!

But at least it was warm in FL for Thanksgiving!
I just wanted to report another good month of signups and sales.
My general results = 1251 visitors, and 45 signups, which translates into a 1:28 signup ratio.

Not too damn bad! Especially considering I don't advertise that much. I have been able to

determine that Overture pay per click adverts were really not worth too much. I had 1 signup I

could track to Overture out of 83 visitors, averaging $1 per day. So, the $34 (I budgeted $1.00

per day) translated into 1 signup from Overture. I do not think I will continue their service

this next 4 weeks.
(I also had Google adwords budgeted at $1.00 per day.)
As far as straight and gay breakdown, here are my stats :
Straight = 941 Visitors and 37 signups.
Gay = 310 visitors and 8 signups.
Not bad ratios at all!
Seriously, folks, I have not had to do too much advertising for this adult dvd rental sponsor. It

almost seems to sell itself and has left me time for some other endeavors. It has been a

blessing for me as a newcomer in this biz.

I've attached a screen shot of my stats from last month. There are two, because the first 34 are on the recurring plan, and the rest are on the flat payout plan. Basically, after I get 30 signups for the 2 tier plan (and an $85 bonus), I change my codes to use the flat payout plan (which I can easily get $15/signup) because the next bonus is at 50 signups.
Since I have been promoting this sponsor for the last 7 months and have collected members along the way (and lost some, too) I get recurring memberships, which this month has already started me out at just over $500. Last month, I think I had about 120 recurring memberships, which started me off at around $400. So, you see, over time, this builds up. I have consistently been able to get 30+ signups, (but can't quite seem to reach 50), without too much trouble.

If this were true, you wouldn't be spamming the boards with it...you'd be keeping it to yourself or sharing the info with close friends and spending all your time figuring out how to drive traffic to this magic program instead of being happy taking a tiny cut of WM referral sales.

It's just that your posts "seem" like spam all the time as if you were a rep for the company.

If I am doing good with a sponsor I usually keep it to myself. Not that I'm an asshole. But I am in "competition" with many people and friends on the internet. Do I want everyone else submitting galleries promoting the same sponsors I am? Or all my trades selling the same thing as me? No! And I'm sure my trades feel the same way. That's why we all trade links and traffic. Anyway I rambling. LOL

If those are your real stats, I think you would be off buying traffic like mad trying to drive up sales...

OIC. I thought this was a place to share our success stories. I thought we were supposed to help each other out. Sorry if it seems like spam.
I am just trying to build a downline, and I am in this business for fun. Although the profit is nice, too. I guess I will just keep it to myself, then.
Its all about targeting traffic. I have found that buying traffic does not work too well for me.
BTW, the checks arrived today, one for each payout plan. I've attached a picture of them. That's another good thing about this program: the pay period ended
13.December.2005 and I have the checks 3 days later!

We don't know you and you usually only post when bragging about your stats with this program. It's not we don't like you or believe you but your name here is the board name so it just looks like you are someone wanting to promote this program to other webmasters. In the webmaster community you tend to take what people say with a grain of salt if you don't know them.

Chat in other threads and contribute to the board. Then all your posts wouldn't be about your stats. That is why it seems like spam.

Thank you for the insight. My board name is simply so that I can remember it easily. Maybe I need to come up with another scheme so that it does not seem so intrusive...

I understand what you are saying. But believe, me... I am extremely humble and do not boast about anything. I simply wanted to share my find with others and try to build a downline from it. I play the harmonica, for Christ's sake!

As far as contributing to THIS board... well, okay you have me there, but I have contributed (non-spammingly) to other boards, like Cozy. Simply, it takes me a lot of time typing away and spell checking (since I can only effectively type with one hand since my stroke a while ago (luckily, it is my right hand...yeah, whatever, thanks GOD)) but also I have been hard pressed to find other means of building a downline. Here I am, virtually surrounded by others with a similar interest. I want to try to make the most of what I have to say. But now I realize that is not an excuse.
Thank you, all, for bringing this to my attention. I've learned more in this 48 hours than I have in 7 months!

In closing, I really was not trying to spam the board, but trying to share an opportunity.
