People are out of their fucking minds, and the idiot tht ignored the plea's should all have their head shoved in a public toilet and flushed, or better yet they should get a little adult style Trampeling.

Aside from the injury, it just goes to show what some people will do to save $10 |badidea|

Or better yet, is the whole world that way, and we are just spoiled?

Because trust me im not waiting on anything to save $10, or being at a store at 3am to save money on a DVD Player, hell they could be giving them away free, im not hanging around 3hrs for a store to open.

...and remember - that was in Florida - they had morons out at the stores up here in 40 degree rain.

This fucking kills me. I can understand waiting in line to save 10 bucks if you are poor. Some people are not as well off as others and 10 bucks can be a lot. Trust me, I grew up like that. But the fucking soccor mom morons that ignored her cries so they can be greedy and save 10 bucks should be taken out and strung up. How can someone ignore a dieing person like that, I'll never understand. Just my $.02.

OH man.. it said one of the was 41, buying for their MOTHER.. 2 of them going in together.. and please that does not diminish the fact that she was injured.. but i mean radio shack had them advertised nationwide for 49.95.. they couldn't spend 25.00 each to for DVD for their MOTHER who is what 60, 70 80 yrs old?? *as i creep toward 50*.. WTF.. by age 41, one of them at least should be responsible enough for a JOB that she could afford to spend 50.00 on her MOTHER...

Was it Walmart that had them on sale for $29.99 after at $10 mail in rebate?

If so, that makes these people even sadder.

& I have been poor & unemployed around Christmas - never once had the desire to save $10 at 3 AM :)

the one thing working in retail over the Christmas Season has taught me is that we should never.... EVER... underestimate the tight fisted Cheapness that is the general public. I've seen people lining up outside a record store on Christmas Day, waiting in line for 18 hours in the Sub-Zero Toronto Winter for a Boxing day sale.

I've seen people camping out over night for a Boxing Day Sale and litterally getting into fist fights over $5 T-shirts.

Sales can make some people spring a leak.

One last story... the last boxing day sale I will ever work saw me arrive at the store at 4 AM so I could mark down prices for our sale, only to have people come up with merchandise already marked down to cost yell at me for not taking off an extra 50% at the register, throw the product in my face, call me cheap and yell they'd never shop at my store again. Hearing about old ladies trampled is horrible, but I'd bet that if it wasn't them who'd fallen down, they'd be trampling the little old ladies who did.

I just heard on the local news that this woman was an ex-Walmart employee, she has filed 9 injury suits against Walmart prior to this incident & she has also filed injury suits against other retail stores.

Do you still feel sorry for her? :D

yeah, turns out she's just a scam artist who "falls down" and sues where she "hurt herself". she's like the stupid old twat who poured coffee in her own lap and sued McDonalds for 4 Million dollars.

Apparently, she may not have even been in the store when the DVDs went on sale.
