About alt text and SE
 

Hello, got a question for ya!

If you use the same alt text, on several pictures (3-4) on the same page, do the SE counts it as spam, cause it is repetition???

Are all the pictures exactly the same? If not they should not have the same alt tags

noo, they aint the same pics, but its banners promoting the same site...

For banners it's the best to write additional information about the site to entice the visitor to click (all the stuff about the site which is not on the banner).
It seems that with Google's latest update you get penalized more if you repeat keywords in alt or title tags... It certainly happened to me!
