How many of you use myspace to market?
 

Myspace is getting HUGE eyes and they came out of nowhere. Do you use it to do marketing?

Would you use it/use it more if they were adult friendly?

I just make sure everyone on my friends list is over 18.

I used to use them quite a bit for trolling for cam clients.. until i read this article. I don't think i've been back since.

On a side note: Just before school break one of the local private schools here suspended 5 and expelled 1 student for having a spot on myspace. Since this school doesn't have computers, it wasn't something they did while on campus. But school officials went looking for these students and apparently didn't even consult the parents before taking action. I'd of thought a 'christian school' would have been happy to have representation on a space owned by one of the men pulling GWB's leash.

We put up profiles for some of our girls and get some traffic but like anything else you need to be active on it to make it work for you,

I have a profile for Veg Porn, but I don't spend much time on it. I mainly get emails from guys asking if they can fuck me or see my cooter.

Up-and-coming alt site Gods Girls is doing their pre-launch marketing on MySpace with clothed photo samples, event invites, modeling and shooting info, etc. I think this is actually a successful tactic for them, since MySpace hipsters are the site's target audience.
