I've decided to start promoting ARS some time early next year. First member with over 500 posts to post their ref code gets the signup. I promise to make you at least $5 before the end of '06 :D

I had them in my sig for a couple of years. But I've given up on them completely. The only links of their I still have up are on some really old sites on free hosting...|boobies|

They made a lot of changes sometime ago that upset many webmasters.

That's putting it mildly :D

There was a time when some folks wanted to tar n feather MarcDe. I've still got some old hsn links up, but haven't sent anything to their regular paysites in a long time due to those changes they made. I have heard from others that the new sites are converting ok though :)

They've pretty much changed back to where they were before they changed everything around, so back to the old business model & back to nice meaty checks in my mailbox |thumb

I have officially attempted to sign up ARS three times now. The first time, I got no response. The second time, which was several months ago, I think the form told me that I was already signed up or something, but I've never received any confirmation. I signed up again last night and am awaiting confirmation. I instantly tried logging in, but it says that my account is on hold due to a missing W9 form. I don't feel like filling any forms or faxing anything, so....

ARS = Crap
ARS = Banned

Yea...that's the kind of response I recall from when ARS made all those changes :D

I was thinking of giving them a go as well but I am also having problems signing up.

I get the error : Failed to send notification e-mail message to the publisher everytime :(

I got so very tired of changing all their link codes, and of being screwed around. Then there was the CHAMPS debacle, and I gave up on them. Every now and again I feel tempted to start promoting them again, but the fact remains that I still can't trust ARS to stay as a stable program anymore.

I am in the same thought, pretty much dropped them when they made all the changes that I never heard about, nor friends knew about. Found all my links going to a adult PPC of there, which sure did'nt pay like when the links were going to the right sites. Only links are little ones I am too lazy to change.

Could be they are back on track, but sure dont want to find out again, they changed everything and the links are screwed again. Did it once...

Like Marc did'nt have enough money to do it right.
