Link List Question?
 

Howdy peeps,

Im getting into freesites,and maybe even avs. But my question is I see some link lists dont want the recips on a page like index1.html or index2.html and so on. How do you set up a free site so you dont have to make several folders with the same pics ...I just make a site and make what some people call "Door Way Pages" and add diffrent recips to each one??

or am i just not understanding what the hell im doing lol

ok let me try to explain, have patience though because Im definatly not a good tutor :)


say you have a freesite here:

/baxter/freesites/teens/index.htm

the first you could do is to make replicas..like index.htmL / index.shtml etc.

or you could do this :

make a folder like this:

/baxter/freesites/teens2/index.htm
/baxter/freesites/teens3/index.htm

you see ? You dont have to move the pics over from the original folder /baxter/freesites/teens/ ...you just make a new index page in baxter/freesites/teens2/ with the pics linked to /baxter/freesites/teens

There's many way to rename your entrance page so that it doesn't look like an obvious mirror page

index.html
index.htm
index.html
warning.htm
warning.html
etc

Most of the time, as long as we see our link listed with a few other link sites that we recognize, we're happy :)

more and more (often of the small fresh linklists) demand an actual INDEX.html \ htm ...warning.htm and so on wont do. Totally sucks
