Leave link?
 

Hey all,

I'm just wondering how LL owners feel about "leave" links on the index page.

Does it count towards the number of links out, even if it's going to a non-adult site?

Typically no, but if the exit link goes to a commercial site with consoles / back button manipulation / toolbars / spyware / installs, or if the "exit" is to more porn, then you might have issues.

If it goes to a potential money maker I count them as a sponsor link.

It's much better to send "leave" links to a non-adult site with no sponsor links.

I send all mine to http://hell.com now ...try it! You wont make any money from em, its non adult but its fuckin wierd.

I actually tried searching before posting but to no avail. Maybe I need to hone my board searching skills, but after spending a few minutes trying it became increasingly clear that it would be much faster to make a new thread.

Based on the mix of replies so far I think it's pretty safe to say that leave links are useless, as if you send it to a non-adult sponsor with an affiliate code then it would be a blind link and if you send it to a non-adult sponsor with no affiliate code then it is a waste of traffic. |loony|
