Ccbill question

Is it just me or is ccbill conversions going worse every month?
Since september 2005 it was 1:1500, october 1:2100, november 1:3000, december 1:3400 and now january 2006 i'm doing 1:3800 and getting worse.

I would like to know from other ccbill affiliate (not the program owners) users if they experience the same.

Maybe it's time to get more none ccbill sponsors..

MadMax 2006-01-14 11:47 AM

Varies from sponsor to sponsor for me. January blows altogether. CCBill does a pretty hard fraud scrub, which can cut down on signups but tends to keep the programs healthy.

Toby 2006-01-14 12:02 PM

My combined CCBill affiliate numbers have been consistant right at 1:600, give or take, from month to month. So far this month CCBill affiliate sales and conversions are rockin' at 1:464.

Whoa, those are bad ratios, maybe you should find some better sponsors or change the way you send traffic.

Didn't I already tell you in another thread to give me my conversions back? |club|

:D

Well I think it depends who you promote through CCBILL. CCBill is just the processor, you'd want to examine your sponsers, niches and how you send the traffic to those niches.

Useless 2006-01-14 05:35 PM

Conversions are the same for me but the fold on the check has now crept even further away from the perforation. I swear they do that just to piss me off. Fargin' bastages.

Yeah I've noticed that lately |loony|

GunnCat 2006-01-15 09:31 AM

It's you. That's not a bad thing though. Some sponsors ratios are real high, but still some of my best sellers due to the content and traffic they get.

A lot of the time it is almost impossible to get meaningful stats. A lot of sponsors don't use sub-accounts, and you are left guessing what sites in a sponsors portfolio are actually doing. Maybe 0:5000 on one site, and 1:200 on another.

And here I thought I was the only one annoyed by that.

If you are getting your stats from CCBills administration area the clicks that are posted there are NOT unique, so the ratios are drastically higher when compared to sponsors counting and figuring your ratio based on unique clicks. (like most other affiliate programs)

....and even higher for other programs basing their ratios on second page uniques.....

As far as your ratio getting higher and higher, that is not a good sign but there could be many things causing that. Such as poorer and less targeted traffic sources and more aggressive marketing techniques such as the use of more "blindish" type links.

The same surfer will usually register several clicks from just one free site or gallery and they all will be counted in CCBills admin.

So a 1:2000 ratio in CCBills admin is = to a 1:1000 ratio in most other programs counting 1st page unique clicks and maybe even as low as 1:500 or less to a program computing their ratios from 2nd page uniques.

A-ha! I thought maybe it was just me. I spend 5 minutes ripping the damn extra paper off every time.

Lol, shit me too. Someone needs to start a movement to get that taken care of.
I typically sit in my car in the parking lot of the post box rental place before going to the bank, so I can prep all the checks and stamp endorse etc, but I wonder what I look like from the outside of the car, sitting and hunched over making faces trying to avoid ripping the ccbill checks lol.

But these folks are right, I would consider examining my traffic and sponsors a little bit more to help narrow down the problem, my conversions are about the same, I hardly ever see a significant change, hope you get it figured out. I personally gravitate towards sponsors using ccbill because ccbill has been good to me with my own sites and pay on time, etc and I am familiar with their support, which is good =)

Yeah, I ripped my last check as well.

Per your question, Fonzie is a guy who is 37 years old who mocks a producer who is 33.

Is 33 years old old to be a producer? All the company heads are over 40. GG&J are both in their 30's...

More, continous, irrational BS from what I call -
"THE SCARED ICON HIDERS"

See the guy with the ghost smoking a cig, the same... on some boards they have whole threads devoted to icons. Maybe that's the people I know who surf think boards are silly. I think that certain people are ugly, not the boards...

I definately would sign up for an affiliiate program from someone with a stolen cartoon or image from TV. [NOT]
