link list owners, how are these sites?
 

I have been submitting a free site everyday for the past week, and have noticed I've been added to just about as many places as I have been declined at.

I was just curious if I'm doing something to my sites that you guys don't like or if you haven't gotten around to them whether it be due to the holidays or hectic schedules.

I've been submitting to 45 link lists so I can't provide all the URLs, but those are a few of the ones that I have submitted.

I'm willing to make any necessary changes to them so long as it's not the content. Trying to make sales with content that isn't even in the members area doesn't work that good at all, so I really have to keep this content. After 4 years in the business, I feel we baby the surfers too much anyways, and should keep throwing the same content down their throat until they signup for something. Oh well, that's another story.

Like I said though, I'm willing to change to get listed. Hopefully a lot of you link list owners can shed some light on my sites. I would love the chance of becoming "partners" with you guys so that my sites are listed more frequently.

You have 3 links to your own site at the bottom of the pages. Most places only allow 3 links per page.

"ads" that occupy the whole screen = FPA = decline

Blind links to sponsor = decline

Dave, how are those FPAs? You can clearly see the gallery links below them, or at least on the browser I am using you can. I always looked at those as half page ads. I can change that though, no problem.

Blind links to sponsors? I have no idea where I have blind links to sponsors, can you please point those out for me?


And consoles, there are no consoles on any of my pages, surfn. There might be 1 on the sponsors I am using, but none on my pages.

I thought most places said 3 sponsor links per page. I have since then changed the index and enter pages to only 2 sponsor links to try and clean the sites up a bit.

I've always thought one of the big reasons of doing free sites is to try and get your other stuff spidered in the SEs. I did put those links as font size 2 at the very bottom of the page. I could care less if anyone clicks on those links, I'm just doing that for the SEs.

I don't get enough hits to my free sites so that I may rely 100% on free site traffic, so I try and get a little SE hits here and there.

I clicked them in order and either when I closed the 2 nd one or opened the 3rd (I'm kinda fast) a full page ad popped up. I only looked at the first page of each site. Didn't click on anything.

Did you by chance click on a sponsor link and then come back to my site really quick or something? Maybe that caused you to think my sites had consoles.

As I said I went from one to the other very fast, I've been reviewing for over 10 years, 8 years on the adult side, so I don't know if it was a popup or popunder?

Well Surfn this is boggling my mind, I don't use any HTML or javascript codes to pop anything up. I have no idea what the deal is here, but those sites have been getting added to about 50% of the link lists I have submitted to, and I know I would get declined without a 2nd thought if they were seeing popups.

I didn't get pop-ups on any of those sites. I would probably list them, but my recip is wrong. You don't have to use my table if you are not using any others, but you do have to use the right text for the links. I really don't mind those small links at the bottom as long as there are not more than 2 or 3 and they don't "interfere" to much with the site.

Sorry Jenny about that... I was wondering why I wasn't getting added to your link list as you had listed all the free sites I have submitted to you in the past.

A few of the link lists had more text in their recips than others, and the way I set up the recips, it's difficult to add a bunch of text really. :(

I'll try and figure out something so that I can get your recip to look right with the others without it looking like I'm making your recip bigger than the others.

You don't have to use all of the text for my links, just the actual link text. I am not sure when you submitted to my site, so I don't know if you have actually been rejected yet or not. I do all of my own submissions. With the kids home for Thanksgiving last week, I didn't get a whole lot done. Now, I have a school field trip all day Friday. Sorry, but hopefully I will be completely caught up next week|santa|

The way I have your recip now is "Adult Link Post" as the top link which links to your main site and underneath it says "Hot Mature Sex" or whatever the category may be which links to the individual category.

Would you rather I put "Find Free Porn" instead of Adult Link Post? I noticed on your recips you have Find Free Porn as the clickable part, but I kind of figured you would rather have your site name if I only had room for 1.



Btw, I've been getting back into submitting sites ever since the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, so I have have submitted 7-8 sites total.

For the top link, you can use "Free Porn", or "Free Porn Links". Either one is fine with me.

If you were rejected by me, you would have received a rejection letter. My new script that I have been using about a month sends them automatically.

IMO - a text link on your index page that says "YES, I WANT TO SEE TEACHER PORN!" - on a site called "BLONDE SEX TEACHER" - that goes off to the sponsor ... IS a blind link.

45+% of surfers still use 800x600, the big ad on your front page fills my screen at 1024x768 - by definition making it a full page ad.

I can see why the link might be a problem, even though I imagine most free site surfers are looking for an ENTER link.

About that being a FPA, I guess now that I look at it, it does resemble one, I was just looking for another way to promote the site without doing the same banner and text link stuff that everyone and their brother uses. I guess I always looked at a full page ad as a banner or something that took up the whole screen and being clickable. Mine, while it does take up the whole screen, only had that 1 text link at the bottom. I have seen plenty of free sites out there that have 2 banners stacked on top of each other that take up the whole page, and while they might go to different sponsors, that's still taking up the whole page, so I don't know if I really understand the reasoning behind this completely.

However, I have submitted a free site to you today that had that same ad on the 2nd page under the galleries. Would that be ok with you? Here is the site I submitted:

I'm still making a free site everyday, but still without being as listed nearly as much as I would like. I'm trying to follow everyone's rules, and I would appreciate you link list owners tell me what you need for me to do so that I may be listed.

I'm trying to make a decent living off free sites and gaining webmasters trust is my main priority at this time, but in order to do so I guess I need to know why I'm not being accepted at certain link lists.

Brad - from experience I can tell you that getting listed at most of the major LLs you're going to have to lose one of the text links at the bottom of the page - no matter how much you want them spidered :)

three links - thats a combo of sponsors and your own sites - some are more lenient but some are very strict about that and after all it is their rules :)
