Maybe NBC's advertisers aren't that interested in reaching "the most upscale audience on television." Just one more in a long line of idiot moves by that network. NBC finally doomed the show when they decided to stick it in the Sunday night slot.

The story also said they're going to put their Law & Order up against LOST. I don't think NBC has a clue right now.

I've got mixed feelings on this; this year has been interesting, but the last 2 seasons just plain sucked so maybe it is time. I do feel somewhat ripped off after all this seasons stories knowing it doesn’t matter who wins now since we wont get to see the results.

But I knew the end was near when they moved it to Sunday, just like the end was near for "Malcolm in the Middle" when they moved it to Friday, but they will move it back to Sunday to finish it's run on Sunday since it has also been canceled.

I'm having fewer and fewer shows to watch.

Not much of a surprise since the ratings were in a sharp decline. The death of one of it's main characters was the final blow I guess!

Great...just when I started to watch it on a regular basis :(

The networks still have TV shows? Maybe I should check them out again.

"The decision to cancel it was made before actor John Spencer, who played former presidential chief of staff Leo McGarry, died of a heart attack Dec. 16, said Kevin Reilly, NBC entertainment president."

"Producers are negotiating the return of Rob Lowe, the early series star who left because he was upset by his diminished role, for the finale...."

I figured it would be Lowe to be the new VP canidate when Spencer died, not like he has much work since his 2 shows bombed.

I was checking out the tube the other night and man there are a ton of shows that I have never heard of before.. wonder what will replace West Wing. I never could get into that show anyway so no big loss for me.
