just starting...

Hi all,

Questions about starting out in the free site world. (I've been making them for others, just never submitted them).

1. How many sites should I make and submit daily?
2. How many link lists should I submit to daily?
3. On AVERAGE, how much traffic should I see to my sites daily?
4. On AVERAGE, how many hits to my sponsors should I see daily?
5. On AVERAGE, what should be my conversion ratios?

I have seen alot of different answers, but would like to hear from everyone here.

thanks!

One per day max at most places.

As many as you feel like it.

It is completely different for everyone and is also dependent on how many sites you currently have listed as is what niche your are promoting.

Is there any way you can give me an estimate or an example. I'm just curious how much traffic I can expect to see and how much potential (or the average) of what I can make.

I know there are alot of variables but I want to figure out how much time put in can possibly make me.

There's a lot of variable that you have to take into account, especially the niche that you are promoting - I put a BBW site up on my newsites page around noon yesterday & it got 454 hits in the 1st 12 hours - I'm assuming this is low because BBW is not as popular a niche (as far as traffic is concerned)

Are 1:1000 conversions considered bad for say something like Amateur sites through link list traffic on free sites?

And Greenguy, I was looking at your stats on the top of the pages, are those stats for all your types of traffic (SE,TGP,LL,FS) or just free sites?

Greenguy 2003-12-04 12:51 PM

I don't look at conversions as much as I look at what I'm making per click - if you do 1:200 on a $20 sign up you get 10 cents per click

If you do 1:300 on a $35 sign up you get 11.7 cents per click :)

As far as my stats, they are for everything that I do, bit I'd bet 90% of the traffic comes from my link list.
