Notification : listes/rejected

Hi,
With "sickkittens " asking so many questions, there is no room for me for a new question. LOL!
But I would like to know the general policy on notifying the submitter webmaster about his site being listed /rejected. I have seen different rules on this. Some say they will notify only if rejected, some say will notify only if accepted, still some linklists don't notify at all. With some, LL taking too much time to review sites, how do we make sure that, the site is listed or rejected?

This notification can help, the webmaster. if a site is rejected at some big LL's , webmasters can very well remove those recips and put smaller guys recips and get listed there.
I have submitted thisFree Site last week. I got email only from Cleo. I have no clue whether, other guys have listed me or not.

Anyway, today I have submitted a New Site to you big guys. Hope I will get listed. Please let me know if I need to make any changes. I really want to get listed.

With me, if you not listed in 48 hours, you come here & ask why (it says that on the email you are sent when you submit)

I don't even remember reviewing this one -
What category did you submit to? I don't have the option of changing the category you submit to, so if you submit to wrong one, I just delete them.
With that said, I still don't remember seeing this.

IMO you would be much better off "fixing" the site and getting it listed.

Oh - forgot to add -
If accepted you will get an email, however it won't say what site...(because I tend to change titles and/or descriptions.. lol)
If declined, I do not send out emails... talk to DD about why.. LMAO
