Hi Kids!

For reasons that I can't remember, fathom, or will be able to justify to the little lady when she finds out, I went and registered some Adult & Gambling domain names the other night. Hence, my nick and sig....

Now I have to buck up, move on and make the best of the damage done. I've come to GreenGuy & Jim seeking absolution, understanding and guidance. Please be gentle with me.

OK, I've done a couple of mainstream sites that generate a few bucks that pay for pizza, beer, gas, and bail money each month, but I had never considered doing any Adults sites. That is until 3-4 days ago when I was looking for some "typo" domains and stumbled upon an Adult domain name that I thought was GREAT (aren't they all?!?!) and was amazed it wasn't taken.

Of course one thing led to another, "domain fever" set in and before it was all done, I was the proud parent of a dozen or so domain names in industries I know next to nothing about. My current level of knowledge about these two industries amounts to knowing how to surf for porn and knowing if I put a $20 on the craps table it wil be the last I ever see of it...

At the moment I'm a little overwhelmed with the "education" I've been getting here on GG&J and a couple of other sites and am beginning to realize that doing Adult sites is exactly the same as doing mainstream sites - only COMPLETELY different!!

So, after all this rambling, my questions to this esteemed forum are:

1) Has anyone succesfully shared a site (ie. one person provides the domain name, the other the site's content) and then split the income? (many more questions will follow if the answer to this one is yes)

2) Is it alright to post a couple of the domain names here for a little round of "Humiliate the New Guy for his Stupidity". If this is alright, should I post them here in the Newbie section or in some other section? (I SWEAR they're good names - most are short, easy to remember, effortlessly roll of your tongue, and a couple are what I'd describe as very "brandable")

One thing to keep in mind when acquiring domains names that "look" like they have been overlooked is that they may be penalized in the SE's or banned by sites. Hopefully you lucked out and found some gems. :D

I think there is a link where you can check your domains for being banned on LL's. I don't have it; hopefully someone else will leave it.

Unless it is a figment of my imagination, that is. :D

I'd also run check on each domain through whois.sc

Here are the first 4.

SoCalMILFs.com (gets about 4-5 type-ins a day)
LipsNClits.com
BBMILFs.com
BigBeautifulMILFs.com

The rest that I haven't listed fall in to the "brandable" idea I mentioned above and are not directly related to these 4 (aside from being adult domains). As there are a couple of other variation that could follow along the "brandable" theme, I won't list them at the moment until I decide whether or not to also pick up the variations.

Any input on the viability of the domain names I listed?

Seems like your in the MILF niche...I would probly start with free sites, which are sites you make that consist of a index, a main page, and 2 gallery's till you get the hang of the industry. You submit those to link lists, like hoes.com, link-o-rama, penisbot, and that should drive traffic to your sites. I would invest in dreamweaver, or another similar program to make building easier, and turn each domain into a hub (a mini link list of your own only selling your products and affiliates). Take the exit pages to all the free sites and link them to your main sites.

If your talking about nude pictures, then sure, you get them from your affiliates.

If your talking about building the website, then no. A Domain name is 10 dollars. Designing the site, putting in the seo, and doing everything else is litterly all of the work. If that was the case, i think we all would of bought up 1000's of domains a long time ago and found many of such partners.

All the domains are decent enough domains. I wouldn't think of branding however, unless your making a site they really want to bookmark, like a link list, info, blog or TGP site.

Per Shade & Pixx's comments, they always say, "Focus and work on those things you know and like best and you will be successful." :D

Which is also why the first site I'll probably tackle will be SoCalMilfs. Based on the number of views it's getting while parked (though I'm sure some of this is 'cuz of having posted the names here), it's seems like the best candidate to develop and cut my teeth on - but then again, maybe I should start with one of the other ones and make all my mistakes there before trying to develop what looks like the best name of the bunch.
