Another freesite review please
 

Hey guys,

Im quite new here and started to make freesites. I made a few, and actually only one was good. Each time I noticed that I did things wrong after I submitted the site so I wasted quite a lot of time.
So I hope you can tell me what to improve on this freesite, any comments are welcome. The empty table on the index page is for recips that I havent added yet.

Actually not bad for starting out...the only thing that I would say of concern is the width of your site with some link sites. There are some out there with strict guidelines on making sure your site will load without scrolling to the side in an 800 wide window (for this you want it to be up to 770 px wide at most). So this is one thing to consider with your current and new sites.

The other is the image on this one site that I am assuming is a well over enlarged image or were you purposely going for that look? Some link sites, again, will look at this and some will say nope...

The other thing I would strongly suggest is to make sure you put all your keywords, description tags, and name your links and make sure you use ALT tags. Even though not all search engines really focus on these much anymore, there are still some that do...yahoo does. You definitely want to focus on search engine traffic as well. Also, when you do your recip tables, try to balance the big name traffic link sites with the smaller ones across your mirrors. I won't go into the details here or on much more because Im saving my typing fingers for new webmaster tutorials which will be at my directory (see my sig below) :)

Anyways, I look forward to more of your sites, and just to pass on a valuable piece of info, if you are getting into free gallery sites, I have the perfect option for you if you are interested? I'll check the scroll, I thought I already fixed that but maybe I used the wrong file.(hmm I did its fixed now) About the quality of that picture, thats something I wanted to ask too. It isnt strechted out actually, I tryed to keep down the size for modem surfers so I saved it in lower quality (and the picture is a bit blurred on purpose) but I dont really know what should be my target for such a pic. How big can I make index pages without it getting to slow for modem sufers?

ah...good sizing on the pic now. As for the file size for modem surfers, its great to think about these people, but overall, anyone surfing porn will more likely be on broadband. Even modems are fast enough nowadays that they can afford to see the better quality pics, but still, modem porn surfers are probably the ones that are out for the free porn only.

When building Free Gallery sites, you won't have to worry too much about being too big. Remember though, most who surf porn are usually on broadband or most who use modems will have fast ones. I'd personally focus on quality of your site because this is what will be successful for any site you build.

Good job...I don't see any obvious infractions except maybe pictures that look almost like vid caps (but not quite), Roman Maroni, and your server feels a bit slow.

"unlimited porn downloads updated daily!" How can downloads be updated daily? You mean the paysite is updated daily.

Other minor tweaks:

Avoid naming the main page index2.htm. Either use main.html or keyword.html

You have only one linkout / page. You can add 2 more per page.

Use different banners on each page, if you are going to use banners.

Use different text on gallery1/gallery2.

As halfdeck says, just remeber you are not building these sites to give free porn to the surfers, but to gain traffic and clickthrough to sponsors to yourself.

You can have 3 links to sponsors on each page, use them.
for the "leave" button.. dont link to yahoo, google or some shitty sites like that. Use a mainstream sponsor and link it there.
Then u still have 2 more links to put on that page.

On your galleries: Put sponsor ad on the top , between and below the pics. add some tekst to the ad's that hit the surfer straight in his cock, so he just HAVE to click through and put up his credit card... then your mission has been fullfilled.

The pages was nice...nice layout, good text and all, but all in all this is no site that will put money in your pocket.

Anyway, try not to speak about yourself in your sales pitch.

Here's your text with customer-first context: "Have you ever seen a fucking hot couple having sex in the park? I give you FREE pics of people doing just that! If you want more go to my paysite, AND if you join it today you get amazing discount of $XX (usually I charge $YY). CLICK HERE NOW!"

If you focus on your customers and on what you can do for them, you'll do much better.

I won't list your sites with your exit going to a paysite. If you feel the need to use an exit it has to go to someplace non adult. Most submitters who use an exit link to a search engine for example.

Haha someone else gave me the advice to point it to a mainstream sponsor when I linked it to yahoo. But Ill change it back, thanks for the advice.

What is wrong with an mainstream sponsor?
Lets say a flower shop, dvd rental or insurance company.... it is so far from adult as you can get, even more than google and yahoo.?
