Can you spare me some of your time to have a look at the following site.

Its my first attempt at a free site although I have been maintaining a blog for a little while. I've decided to try this free site thang aswell.
Not sure were I should submit too. So some advice there would be very appreciated aswell.

The site does'nt look bad, a little on the blah side. Big thing you have very little ads, you can use 3 per page for free sites, for sure you need some at the top of the pages, best real estate to sell. For sure get some on the index page, though softcore there might be better, or text. Dont count on banners by themselves to pull many clicks, good chance they wont. Less clicks to sponsor, less sales. I dont see anything wrong with the site.

Blah for sure, not much there to entice the surfer to click on an ad. Your pics are also pretty huge, most over 100k, and this will get you rejected many places.

cheers Ronnie and Lemmy for the quick replies. I've made my thumbs 50% smaller. I'm also gonna work on my ad text. I know its pretty crap at the moment.
But its saturday night where I am so I'm going out for a beer or two :D

Not bad for a first attempt. I would resize the full size pics to 600-650 on the long side.

Yep, a nice clean effort for a first pass :)

Add some ads and some text to the pages...drop down the full size image sizes...and you're good to go. When you're adding ads, try to make sure there's always an ad visible to the surfer as he scrolls through the galleries |thumb

Definitely needs more sales text and another add on each page. Maybe a different shaped banner then the standard horizontal, just to mix things up.

I have resized the full size pics. Added more sales text and smartened up the existing links that I had. Just need to add some meta seo type stuff and I'm ready to submit.

Swap the pics with non-sponsor ones and you will get listed at far more places.

Far more link sites are getting fussier over what they will list and what they wont. Most wont accept sponsor content.

Your pictures are too bland imo. If they're sponsor content, I'd replace them with something a little more exciting.

The thumbs look muddy. You can make 'em look better without increasing their filesizes much.

Since this is an APC site you're promoting, it'd be a little more surfer friendly if you used a mouseover that displayed the paysite domain in the stats bar instead of apc.com. Up to you.

Last thing -- your site doesn't pass the Roman Maroni test:

I don't think I can change the site now see as I have submitted it. So I'll take onboard what you've said and apply it to my next site. Which I'm currently building. I'll definately post it on here first. The advice I've been given is invaluable everytime I come to this board I learn something new.

For the gall's:
I allways, atleast try, to get the thumbs same size in the galleries.. it look much better.
Same goes here allso, you can merge this text: "Amateurs Go Balls Deep at Throatjobs.com" with the pic above, and throw in 1 more ad.

People tend to forget that the only reasonable explanaition why webmasters should build galleries, is actually just to get some bucks in their pockets, not to give out free porn to the surfers, wich by the way, it is far too much of allready.

All in all: Nice clean freesite for a first attempt, just not forget the reason why you are building it ;)

If I post my new site would you guys take a look at that one.

The hardest thing I've found to get your head around is the marketing/url text. I'm hoping thats just because of a lack of experience not a lack of talent : )
