How would you promote bizarre acts?
 

Maybe not everyone here would consider these bizarre.. but, if you had traffic for people who search for things like Cleveland Steamers, Dirty Sanchez's etc, how would you try to convert these?

Are there sponsors that cover these? or would you try to send them to the more "extreme" sites out there?

Phone sex should work really well with traffic like that ;)

Darryl - It's not a fetish we deal with, but from what I've seen over the years, it's very difficult to convert that kind of traffic unless you have somewhere with a lot of that specific content. I don't know of any US-based sponsors with scat sites, but I'm sure there are some somewhere.

Yes, the steam roller part is important, but let's not forget:

Back to the original question, with those 2, I doubt there's much you can do with the traffic. But there are sites based on some of the other terms, like tea bagging, palm sundae, etc.

Darryl - One other thing you have to decide is whether you want more of that traffic, given that you could do something with it.

If you set up a little information site, like a "scatFaqs.com"* or something, you could probably get some decent traffic from the SEs. But that still leaves you with what to do with that kind of traffic once you have it.

Greenguy's suggestion would work with a more diversified faq site, like an "altFaqs.com"* or something, where you could get the traffic in from one term but hopefully show the surfer some other deviant (lol) act that both interests them and for which you do have sponsors lined up.

Always look at the money part of it: Where would you send the traffic if you had it?

You can't easily process for scat / urine stuff in the US, so you have a limited number of choices where to send your traffic.

If you can find a sponsor and have the traffic, I guess you are good to go.

Cleveland Steamer was a term that appeared in an episode of the Family Guy... which could be what would be driving searches for it.

This has been a pretty good read. Ya, I'm still not sure what to do with that traffic in terms of conversion and I may be barking up the wrong tree by even attempting to cultivate it.

As GG said, I was thinking about the definition/content side first and then looking to convert it later... but really it might just be people looking for a laugh or to satisfy a curiosity that even punches it into yahoo or google. Probably not buyers.

I'm not sure this whole thing is even sexual. From some of the definitions it sounds like some gross revenge prank.

This thread has great timing, I was asked the other day what a cleveland steamer was and I had no idea where my buddy got the term from, it must have been that episode of family guy!

I would just send them to an extreme site...and see if they convert. Man, ewwwww, blah....*gag*...who the hell would enjoy that? lol
