putting your name in the description?
 

Hello everybody, I have a question. What are peoples thoughts on putting your name in the description, as in "2 studs fucking and sucking by Krusher"? I thought that if I was building decent fs's, it would only complement them - give them some personality while also building a reputation.

Or am I off and it really doesn't matter?|loony|

Its an idea but you'll have to be submitting an awful lot of sites, every day, to a lot of lists, to get the kinda of coverage you're thinking about for developing a reputation. Still can't hurt the ego to be seeing your name all the time on the WWW :).|shocking|

We write our own descriptions & I doubt we'd put it in there.

Do you want to build a reputation among webmasters or surfers? The webmaster is already seeing your name in the name field.
If I saw it in the description, I would probably delete it. I would rather see a great long description instead of the regular old 5 word boring ones. And yes, I'm too lazy to write custom ones for all submitted sites :D

Same here...I'd probably delete it.

I end up rewriting most of those boring 5 word descriptions anyway.

I think you'd soon see submitters would start to use "Sexy blah blah blah on a bed by myhub.com" as a description which wouldn't be good.
