Overall it looks good to me, but the one thing I'd change is to shitcan the webmaster link on the bottom of the pages (no need to advertise that to surfers IMHO & anyone looking for into would go to the paysite & look for it there)

In my humble opinion, I'm not thrilled about the thumbnail looking banners in the gallery pages, but I'd put it on my list.

Removing webmaster links |thumb

thanks guys |cheers|

I have a Q about hosted freesites. I dont plan on using this template more than once for this paysite, but would it be ok to use the same template once for each of our paysites like this?

(I know the HPA on that one is missing, still workin on it |thumb )

any other feedback would be much appreciated

Those look pretty good to me |thumb

On that last one though...the middle ad on the main page may cause some problems. The graphic looks almost like another thumb entry...until it finally flashes the paysite name. Would probably be ok if the gif moved a little bit faster.

I wouldn't have any problem with the template being used once for each paysite. That should still provide enough variation since they're all in difference categories |thumb

The one thing that I notice is that the Enter link is rather small compared to the other offsite links to the sponsor. I'd make it a bit bigger...overall, they look good.

You can reuse the templates for the same sites as well...within reason. Let's say your putting out 2 HFS's for each paysite each week. If you start out with 8 templates, you can probably get away with reusing them the next month...OR...use 4 of them & create 4 new ones. So then you have 12 to choose form for the 8 sites the next month & if you build another 4 new ones & use 4 of the 12, the next month you'll have 16......

You can then get to a point where you're using a template every 3-4 months & no one would ever notice :)

Just a quick stupid question, where would these sites be used, as in would these be submitted somewhere? At link lists that allow them?

Just a little confused on where sponsor hosted freesites would be used.

Preacher 2006-02-23 01:49 PM

A LL owner -- like myself -- would throw them into their linklist with their own affiliate code to be mixed with user submitted free-sites. It's a way for the LL owner to actually make some money off the listings.

These are meant for Link List owners to use on their own lists. |thumb

Actually though the primary intention may be just that, for Link List Owners to use on their own link lists...there are many great uses for these by other webmasters.

If you have a blog use the links on that, as a freesite/gallery submitter you should by now have hub pages up. Pages where you have your own clean links to the galleries and free sites you have made, with cross links to other things you do (in a way a mini tgp or link list but with only your work on it) Throw the sponsor hosted free sites on there.

As I said there are many many, many uses for these free sponsor sites.
Be imagitive and you will find countless more :)
