I've made a few sales with them - but not enough

What I'm looking for is comments, ideas, details to improve on sales and traffic - Everything and anything will be of great help

From the blogs I checked, seems your getting very little traffic. No traffic, no sales. Need to work hard on traffic and the sales will come. You have very little trades. How places have you submitted and gotten your blog listed? Seeing the referer numbers you have, you probably dont have enough traffic to make any sales.

The second blog, some ad images dont show up. They dont look bad. Also if your pushing FHG's, they dont always sell well if at all, try to link direct to the sponsor when you can. FHG's are good for content, I use them all the time, just dont count on them to make you big bucks or have great ratio's.

The last blog is not coming up for me. Could be my connection, or a big reason to host your own blogs. Hosting your own blogs can help to, as not every one will trade with free hosted blogs.

I would say that your initial problem is blogspot and similar services. People are less likely to trade with "free hosted" anything.

What should be the next step after I switch to either Thumblogger or my own host?

link exchanges, submit to more blog directories, submit to all the RSS aggregators, start using technorati tags....did I mention link exchanges, think about your keywords and start using them in you descriptions, read everything you can about blog promotion (whether adult or mainstream) and apply that to your blog, In general, work it baby work it.

Walrus got it all. I'd just say it again, work your ass off on promoting it. Just make sure to keep up with posts. I have been declining so many blogs because they dont update. One post a month does not a blog make..:)

The whole one month post is due to the projects I have running … I’m trying to figure out what works and what doesn’t.

Projects Goning On:
ImAddictedToo(dot)net – I’m only making sells from my FreeSites [ But that’s for another thread]
Blogs – I really want to get some sell going from the blogs … I have just a few coming only from i-need-love.blogspot.com [when I say “few” I mean 1 or 2 a month]

Since I will be using Thumblogger and I have 1 blog thru them [ porntrailers.thumblogger.com ]… What would you say needs work?

1. Post more often [1 a day or every other day]
2. Use less FHG link and more direct sponsor links
3. ????

What works for one person may not work for another, so no one can say exactly what will make you money. Often you have to figure it our through trial and error.

As for the blog if you have it submitted everywhere you can, aggregators for one should bring you more traffic the more you post. With most aggregators, your blog is displayed like a toplist, the more you post, the higher up on the list you move.

As for FHG's, they will not sell as good as direct to sponsor links. For one, you put another place in the chain for the surfer to escape. And many sponsors fhg's are not all that good for selling. I make sales from them, but less than I would with a direct to sponsor link.

Looking at your blogs, you really dont have many trades, there are MANY more places you could get listed and get traffic. So easy enough, go do it! lol

Seriously, your not going to get sales without traffic, no matter whether you use FHG's, sponsors links, build your own galleries, etc. Once you get traffic then you can play around with what works best for your blog and your traffic because what works best for me and my traffic, may or may not work at all for you.

Now if I was some kind of mother-less spamming whore of a cocksucker I could spam you with an ADULT BLOGGING TOOLS link which could give you a pretty good list of any number of places such as blog directories and link lists that accept blogs, as well as how to get your RSS feeds set up with the major search engines but I'm not such a motherless whore.:D

Damn nice resource...if I do HAVE to say so.|thumb I especially love all the places to get chicklets, I just love having chicklets on my blogs!

I was thinking the exact same thing when I found the page! All those cool chicklets, and so many of them. lol

I've been thinking about building a "chicklet" page because I like the idea of people being able to add my blog with a single click...I just think the chicklet row looks like shit. So, perhaps a page that includes not only my blogs but all my sponsor blogs and gallery feeds might work nicely. Then, all I have is a nice text link to the page sitting on my blogs rather than a bunch of different sized chicklets. Hmmm food for thought!
