linking to gallery 1 and 2
 

I have noticed that no one puts a link to the 2nd gallery from the 1st gallery or vise versa, is there a specific reason for this? Occasionally I see a link that says "return to main page" Why not let the surfer have access to both galleries on each page via a link? Is this something that LL owners do not like? Thanx guys! ALOHA

I was under the impression that it makes it to easy for the surfer to just get the freebies with having to see you ads. I dont link to gal2 from gal1 for that reason.

Nah...don't think any link sites mind it. But, think about it from a sales point of view. Would you prefer the surfer just hit the next gallery unhindered? OR, would you rather he have to click back to the main page...and SEE those ads again...before he gets to the rest of the content? Easy choice for me :D

Remember, the goal here...keep your eye on the prize. That prize being sales...we're not here to provide the world with free porn. We're here to market a product...that product happens to be adult entertainment. But, marketing is still marketing...and sales are still the bottom line |thumb

I understand that, especially if your promoting more then 1 site. In my case, seems like if the ads are on everypage and go to the same site, what is the benefit of clicking back? I agree the point is not to give porn away, it's to make sales, but my logic was to get the surfers to the samples as efficiently as possible.

If you make them go back to the main that's an added try for sales. instead of 1,2,3,4. It's 1,2,3,2,4 see the difference?

I still have to shake the habit of making it easy for "Mr Potential Sign Up" to get around like this.

I've got used to not using a Google exit link/leak on the index page, so I'm getting there slowly.

There's an old rule in advertising - if you show someone something 19 times they will remember it (also works for nuclear physics classes BTW for memorization) - so the more times you can show an ad/text whatever you are selling the more they will remember it - and hopefully after looking at those teaser pics you put on gallery 1 with the text and smaller banners, when they go back and look at that hot,crisp,hit them below the belt text youve got on your main page they will click into the paysite - of course the preference would be to have them never even get to the galleries :)

Feel free to do it however you like. I know how to convert on the first or second page after that they are usually freeloaders and I know where to send them to make some money from them too. :D

Yep! By the time they hit the galleries the surfer is just sucking up bandwidth. At least that's the way it seems for me.

I don't use "exit links or "next gallery" type links either.
