Hosted TGP's Issue
 

I’ve been working on my hosted galleries for over a week and have an issue with the CCBill affiliate links.

I have seen 2 other sites use CCBill and have these as their affiliate codes to the galleries

But in my test of using those parts of the code (after the index.php) they didn’t work for me, so I asked CCBill what it should be and they said that this is what I need to use

When I asked why it’s twice as long as the first 2 and what is different about mine CCBill replied

“They are probably using their own management along with ours. If you were to click on their referral link the site posts the referrer ID into the join page, however if you were to click on your link it does not track the affiliate on the join page. Therefore you have to use our link so the affiliate ID is passed into the signup page so they can get credit for the sale.”

I’ve tried to get in contact with one of the sites for over a week since I know her well, but she’s been “gone” for a while.
I just want to know what I can do to not have a url that is as long as a book. Or am I just wasting my time?

I have seen lots of people use your first option with complete success

and while I understand that the full CCBill Url will work... I still think your php one will too.

I finally got to speak to who I know has done it and well, it must be a trade secret, so I'm on my own.

I didn't/couldn't find definitive proof, but I used to use the first method when I was with CCBill..
