Maggie! http://www.dangerdave.com.au/site-ie.jpg http://www.dangerdave.com.au/site-nn.jpg DD |
Damn, I just changed mine to white so if you could please check it our again and I will talk to Maggie in the morning and make sur e to let her know or have her visit this thread. I won't be using that bg color any more :)
Sorry :( Sy |
The CSS you (both) use does not work in Netsacpe.. in regards to link and visited link colours.
Sy, your site has the link colours set in the body tag as BLACK - #000000 but the CSS is trying to call it PALE ORANGE - #F8B050 Netscape is taking the colurs from the body tag and calling every link black Maggie, Your site has no colours set in the body tag so Netsacpe uses the default colours, which are often blue.. giving your site links that are blue on a blue background..:( Again the colours used in your CSS color:"white" do not work in Netscape. I AM NOT a CSS expert.. but you may want to try Sy - color:#FFFFFF; instead of color:"FFFFFF" Maggie - color:white; instead of color:"white" HTH DD |
Thanks Dave

It's Free, It's Fast, It Blocks Popups, It Has Tabs, Download Now.
http://www.mozilla.org/ Check your sites in it. :) PS: It is the same thing Netscape minus the AOL stuff and not as many plug-ins so it is a smaller download and install. I use external style sheets in all of my stuff without any problems, but you do need to leave the tag blank or it overrides your stylesheet in some browsers. Here is a typical one of mine, body { color: white; font-size: 11px; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, san-serif; background: #c99 url(background.jpg) 0px 0px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px } a { color: white; text-decoration: none } a:visited { color: white } |
What Cleo said!
... and the Netscape version is not bad in any way.....all and/or most of the AOL stuff can be turned off DD |
Nothing wrong with Netscape at all and for some it is even better because it comes configured with more plug-ins.
Mozilla is Netscape for geeks :D Google Bar for Mozilla http://googlebar.mozdev.org/ User agent changer http://chrispederick.myacen.com/work...agentswitcher/ Also it is real easy customize and skin http://www.mozilla.org/unix/customizing.html |
