How do TGPs work?

Can anyone help me understand how tgps work?I applyd for like a 100 partner accounts,sent sample gallarys in the last 2 weeks.I got 1 account but from others not even an e-mail.

How long have you submitted to each TGP before you applied for the partner account?

...and...

Some are kind of slow to reply on partner accounts, and will give you an opening if others stop to submit.
I just got a partner account wich i applied for over 1 month ago |thumb

A lot of TGPs simply will not list you if they do not know you or have heard of you. Same applies when applying for a partner account. Also your domain whois info can be important. Doing TGP submits is a bit tough nowadays.
