Favorite Steve Buscemi Role?

Has anyone appeared in more movies then Steve Buscemi? I think he has surpassed Gene Hackman.

My favorite Steve Buscemi role was in "Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead" even though it's not one of my favorite movies I thought he was way cool. He has appeared in many of my favorite movies including Monsters Inc :)

SO, what's your favorite Steve Buscemi role?

Torn Rose 2006-03-09 07:24 PM

Fargo

I always thought Kevin Bacon was in more movies then almost anyone else.

Torn Rose 2006-03-09 07:26 PM

LOL, what do I know?

Bacon - 60 movies
Buscemi - 100 movies

Sorry, that should read "credits" since its a combined list of TV and Movies... I wish IMDB didnt change how they listed them in seperate areas, I hate the combined list.

Graham Greene in "Con Air"

Steve rocks!

karomesis 2006-03-09 10:51 PM

Buscemi was brilliant in Resivoir Dogs.

Best performance of all time...... Robert deniro in Raging Bull, simply unbelievable. Without peer in realistic portrayal.

I like him in Trees Lounge. I think I heard that he directed it also. Cant remember.

Simon 2006-03-10 06:35 AM

Trees Lounge is one I'd missed until I caught just a few minutes of it the other day. I'm looking forward to seeing the whole thing now.

Aside from that...

Mr. Pink in Reservoir Dogs for sure. And I like his Rockhound in Armageddon, and his Garland Greene (The Marietta Mangler) in Con Air.

cosmiccat 2006-03-10 07:11 AM

Armageddon. I know he's had better roles but I like that flick!

Jim 2006-03-10 07:44 AM

Either Fargo or The Big Lebowski.

Loved him in Billy Madison and Mr Deeds.|jester|

I'll throw in another vote for Resivoir Dogs.

Preacher 2006-03-10 10:46 AM

It's gotta be Mr. Pink. One of the coolest characters ever!

Best Role: Reservoir Dogs!
Short lived but good in The Sopranos
Armageddon was a good one too.
Tommy's is an old one he is in but still good!

emmanuelle 2006-03-14 02:22 PM

For me he is most memorable from Con Air. I enjoyed him in Coffee & Cigarettes too

I liked The Island. I dunno why it bombed at the box office.

Seriously though I liked his role in Reservoir Dogs the best. I give credit to Quentin for it though.

I thought the camera style was way to MTV for that type of movie. It seemed like every camera was inches away from every actor when any action was going on.

I think directors need to let the actors act and allow the stunt people to work. They don't need to get so close that you can only see a nose. It's far more interesting to see the bigger picture.

The Duke (John Wayne) - 174 movies

However, film roles can take many forms, and a voice may be just as important as a face on the screen. The man behind Bugs Bunny and Porky Pig had more movie actor credits to his name than anyone. Mel Blanc performed in 709 films, not including over 100 TV movies and video productions. He also had 81 uncredited voice parts in films
