master-x spams my hotmail every other day with this crap. It is russian, you can translate it using world.altavista.com - mostly they are talking about how much it sucks not to be able to write in english, and how their spam blogs on blogger and whatnot are getting knocked off.

but why on earth translate a unique name? I don't exactly translate greenguy into norwegian when talking to fellow webmasters |huh

I suspect that they write greenguy in a way that it gets pronounced in russian or makes sense in russian characters. It may be one of those things.

I can get Nataliya to translate the entire thing if that's of interest.

gringayevskoy translates greenguy's, tho... in this particular case it's greengay :) In this particular thread they're talking about blogging and business and Yahook said that there's a whole board here regarding blogs. What is said in the particular reply with your board's URL means "here's a sample board of a GG&J member"

Kit, I think that when you signup for the board you are by default put on the mailing list. As the mailing is entirely in Russian, I honestly had no clue what was on it. The connection between that board and the mail did not link up.

My fault for not taking the time to translate the mail. I just marked it as spam and moved on.

Didn't realized about it before, because I thought it's a local Russian forum ;-)
