WM sends me an email swearing its up. I have disabled every level of security and the domain nor the ip is in my hosts file but it still comes up No Page To Display.

Can You See It? Review It? Is this a known submitter to anyone. |huh

I don't think I know the submitter since I don't recall that domain, but it is up and it's a rather nice free site.

Have you tried running a trace on the domain to see where the breakdown is? Perhaps a broken router between you and that particular domain?

I'm so glad somebody else had this problem. I had spent two plus hours tearing my system apart because of this. Couldn't load anything from this site from the Google cache either. Still haven't figured it out. Took out all security (Yikes!), hosts file, content filters, IE junk, everythng! I've got an ip filter and I can see packets going and coming. I can see the packet go out but nothing comes back in to even be rejected which is maybe suggesting the router but I haven't hardcoded anything in there. Go figure! Thanks again for the feedback.

Uuuughghgh! I still can't connect to any page on this website. Through the use of various tools I have at least finally isolated it to a reported error of a "bad socket"

Anybody have any ideas how I can resolve this or where to look next? I want to see this fricking site.

Well thanks for that, at least I could see the first page even if it did take 1 minute to load. This thing is driving me nuts. Sure I've got pages, sites, ads blocked but anytime I want to see something, I turn a tool off and no prob! Nothing has ever resisted me like this. Obviously, my OC nature is causing me to spend hours and hours on this trying to figure out why I can't load anything from this site so take pity on me and if anyone has a clue as to my next step toward discovering "socket error" I'm pleased to accept your advice.
