Hello - what else can I do?

Just thought it was time to log in and say hello...

I've been posting my sites and galleries to you guys for a few years now. It's been great traffic! Thank you...

It's nice to read some of your posts and pick up some tips.

I was looking at my numbers for last year... (and taxes due this April). I had a really kick ass year (now it's time to pay the feds). However, unlike last year, I used the last couple months of the year to pay taxes, this year the last couple of months SUCKS ASS...

Is it the market, is it the biz? WTF is going on... I'm using bandwidth but no signups?

It is my fault as I haven't done shit but collect money for the last few months now I'm back to building free sites, posting galleries, making new trades (thanks!) what else can I do?

Welcome to the board lazyz :)

Last few months have been bad for a lot of people, but has been good for others, it's just part of business.

Hi lazyz,

Welcome.

Times have been tough in the last few mths(six even) for many people, so you are not alone.

IMO if you are not actively building or actively maintaining what you have online.. then you are going to see a decrease in effectiveness of your assets and consequent decrease in income.

Hi lazyz |waves| welcome to posting :)

As Cleo and Dave have said different ppl have different results. What I've seen is that mainly newer, not necessarily newbies, who haven't been at this long enough are down. You have to diversify so that you don't rely on one area of the biz and then your revenue stream is a bit more constant. |santa|

lazyz - while I can't help you too much this year, I can give you advice on next year - put 33-45% (depending on your income bracket) of all your earnings (after expenses) aside for taxes.

Nothing sucks more than having to come up with a big chunk of change on April 15th because you didn't properly plan :(

Thanks for the kind words... |waves|

I've learned my lesson about taxes this year...

(I thought I learned it last year).

Sometimes I get caught up with tunnel vision and don't look outside the box...

It's almost a new year... time to drum up new ways to get signups...
