Can I?

Hi people,

Can I put banner to promote MP3 Player site on my Free Site?
Is that O.K. or I must to promote only porn sponsors?
Thanks :)

They might let you, but I don't really see it happening....

Most people only like to link to porn from their porn sites.

It doesnt seem like very niche specific advertising to me either. Why not go to mainstream sites to advertise something like this?

You could link to your hub from your free sites, and then try to sale it on your hub.

I don't know how many people ready to look at some porn will just change their mind and decide to buy some music / or a music player instead. Might go with a video i pod or something though...

"Watch your porn on this!"

lol...

This would defeat the purpose of submitting your free site. You make a niche free site to get the correct niche of se traffic seeing your promo. Unless LLs start opening up MP3 cats, this would be a bad idea. :(

I dont see any reason for this. There are plenty of sponsers for you to promo to fill that spot. Beside who is looking for MP3's? Teenagers and even tho many of them have credit cards and might get you sign ups. I just dont see it worth it. Sure porn and music go together but getting them both in the same area of making money on sign ups would have to be something very very creative. But just my opinon.

So what is the overall verdict for using non-porn sponsors on EXIT links in free sites.

ok, I'm going to poke my nose in here :D

I don't care if someone uses a NON porn sponsor for an exit link, usually I will not count it towards the 3 link rule either (unless I'm in a pissy mood ;)) but I have been seeing a lot of exits going to searches or whatever that have ADULT stuff in them! This includes matchmaking, dating, pills, gambling, singles sites, whatever. If you are going to have a sponsor exit, it better be something I wouldn't care if my 11 yr old sees it.
(not ranting at you, specifically lol but I've seen wayyyy too much of this lately & I really think it's pushing it)

hehe lucky you :D (j/k)

well I don't know if it's just cuz I've been getting more submissions but I've really noticed that some folks seem to be pushing the envelope lately. It's too bad that an otherwise good site can get declined for an exit link that no one clicks on anyway. Like I say - why take the chance on getting declined/banned/blacklisted?? is it really worth it|huh

I agree with Surfn, just don't use 'em at all
