One Good Content Provider

I had one but he has gotten into the main stream and I miss him because he had spoiled me.

Right now I am looking for quality content in the following niches:

1) Lingerie, pantyhose, stockings and other smooth and silky nylon things.
2) Uniforms

I am also looking for sets of single models with multiple sets that covers a wide spectrum of niches.

Pre-made content site owners, there is no need to spam me as I probably have the same content you offer. By pre-made site I mean.. Well, I don't want to call names but I talking about those sites that have the same content on them. I guess they are some kind of broker, affiliate or some shit like that.

I do not like ugly wallpaper.

I normally buy in bulk and seldom pay the site's advertised price. I have been known to buy entire catalogs. I also quit doing business with providers when I find out they sold to someone for an amount less to what they sold to me.

If your license prevents me from using the content on hosted free sites and/or free hosted galleries, there is no need to waste your time.

I need proof of the models' ages at the time the images were produced. I do not pay until I get them, so no bullshit about "I will send them later". Sure you can black out the model's address and anything else that would allow one to stalk them. Will a link to the custodian of records suffice? No.

You can pm me here on the board. You can ICQ me if the initial message includes something like "I have content". If you telephone me, I promise I will never spend a penny with you.

While I will consider if it is good content, I doubt I would do business with you if you also run a pay site.

The above are much the ground rules. If you think you still want to do business with a grouchy old man, let me hear from you.

I see nothing funny in this thread. Apart from you that is....just because he's looking for content providers with a certain criteria in mind which do not apply to you you feel the need to stick your head in and fuck with this thread not to mention insult him? Fuck off and learn some fucking manners.

Did I insult him?

Then you saw the irony.

As for manners I refrained from swearing.

Chop mayne if you were not so tight in your conditions suppliers may not move away from supplying you.

Good luck with finding a supplier.

Yeah, Paul - that guy went mainstream just because he was tired of selling content to Chop.

It's not uncommon for content sellers, or any other business model for that matter, to offer better pricing for bulk purchases. I assume the pricing is what you find so humorous because we all know that you are big fan of 2257 docs. If you aren't willing to work with a customer who wants to buy A LOT of content, then hey - that's your preference. Good for you.

Chop Smith 2006-04-16 02:33 PM

Damn, Celtic! Did Paul stir up your Irish temper? Considering that you post at the rate of .30 posts per day, he must have jerked your chain. There is no problem with Paul's reply as I understand egoistical, opinionated old farts better than most members of the board.

Not at all. If one throws it, then one has to be willing to accept it back.

Was there a condition that prevents us from doing business?

Thanks. I have a few to contact me through the acceptable ways that I outlined. I am leaning toward this one that one of my good ole buddies from NYC turned me on to: 71,500+ original resolution of 1024x768 images at about $.0125 per image plus 40+ hours of
video edited to around 15 minute length and encoded to four sizes for about $1K. However, there is still time for you to make a similar offer.

Damn, with all these lil' Chops flying around it looks like we are ganging up on Paul.

emmanuelle 2006-04-16 03:07 PM

Chop, I'm sure that you are innundated with offers that fit your criteria, don't let sour grapes discourage you |thumb

A good deal is one that leaves both sides winning enough to keep them doing business with each other. If one side wins too much the other loses. Then the further business relationship is in jeopardy.

I know content providers are ten a penny and will always be waiting at the door.

But anyone who can move over to the mainstream and make a profit is good, far better than me, and I would keep him sweet.

And yes I do offer deals, those deals are on my site and not changed. But then I don't tell the seller what he can or can't do with his content in the future. I'm not that arrogant.

Unless you have added some new recently, I have all of your stuff. These are for pay sites so the quality would have to be better than your norm.

I dont know man but I have some 2 cents. Back in the day it was not uncommon for what chop is asking, not uncommon at all. But then again we were dealing with a whole differant medium, magazines. Most deals back then paid $1k per layout and 1k + for a cover. They kept your stuff for 6 months to a year and you could not sell them to anyone else until they were done printing them. After that you maybe got lucky and sold the same layout overseas for double the price but that was rare, or you were able to sell 1 or 2 images for the back of the rag campains. Shooters held contacts in the mags close to their wallet. Now with the advent of the net, it's much harder to hold business like that. Getting 1k for a shoot is not that easy so holding your rights for the sets is a big deal for re-sale. But here's my point, with the advent of digital and the cost dropped so low, what chop is asking for could easily be done. But the issue here is price. What is chop willing to pay for the content and the rights? I would have asked before I jumped, who knows it could have been worth it for you. And besides back then getting someone to tell you what they want IE he wants pantyhose etc, was hard as hell. I walked out of offices asking "What would you like to see in the next layout?" And got "who gives a shit, as long as she's ok looking, nude, opens her pussy and the shots are clear!"
