Pirated Pictures AGAIN!!!

Once again, for the umteenth time, I have been informed of two very large pay sites that are using my copyrighted pictures on the outside of their site to entice people to join. Not only are they using my pictures, but they are cloning and morphing certain parts of my anatomy on to other females. I have written the webmasters and have just written the ISP as well.

One of the sites has responded that if I can prove the pictures are of me (which I did), they would like to buy a license to use my pictures. Of course I haven't heard back from them.

The other site is ignoring me. Since the pictures are nothing short of fraud, I am ready to blast them on every message board I can find....but on the other hand I am "above" that normally. Any other suggestions on my responses? Or am I being naive about this whole thing? Thanks!!!!

Linda - by all means, use the Help Desk - just send Jim as much info as possible - odds are he knows the owners of the paysites (Jim fucking knows everyone - LOL)

I doubt he can do anything this weekend, but Monday for sure :)

I feel you on this it fucking sucks, cheap rip off assholes with ZERO creativty and business ability trying to make a buck off someone else's shit. Sure it's nice to ask them to remove them, even a little more fun to sue them, but would be SOOOOOOOOO much more fun if I could simply meet them at Internext and knock a few teeth out of the losers skull.|knockout|

Haha I try to be proffesional 100% of the time, but there will always be that little bitch inside of me that longs to break an assholes neck like a chicken. There's another webmaster board out there that has a few people hanging around I would certainly love to hang by their feet from balcany in vegas.

Linda, you can sue the fuck out of them if you really wanted to. And if you have not done so already I strongly suggest getting all your images registered

It's $35 for every submission (regardless of the # of cd's or dvd's)and it gives you much more power to your fight. And if you did sue, it entitles you to a lot more compensation.

But of course, you should talk to a copyright lawyer.

I noticed that the help desk says it is for "sponsors". I am not sure if that means that the two offending websites that have stolen my pictures have to be sponsors here or what that means? I do not think they are connected with any message board but not sure. Do I still fill out this form ??

And I thank you for the info on the copyright. I have half of my images copyrighted....looks like I need to get busy and get the rest of them done. I have a registered trademark as well.

"Sponsors" means any pay site which has an affiliate programme.

If you get no joy, please send me a PM and I will try and help you.

Linda I used to have that problem almost every week and all I did was send them a DMCA notice as well as their host and upstream provider. So far it has worked every time. I only issue DMCA's every few weeks now.|bananna|

I did send this form to two offending websites that were using my pictures, and so far, one has offered to pay me which I refused and the other one has removed my pictures (almost all). I have a corporate attorney who I could have called, but Kevin saved me the $$$$. Can't thank him enough!

Better believe I will be using this form A LOT!!!

After meeting GG, and probably Jim, not sure though we may have both had too much to remember... lol.
Been a coat tailer ever since... and hmmm he's moved around a bit over the years.
