Maybe I was, but now I'm trying to convince people that I wasn't, when most assume that I really was, even though no one knows for sure except me what I was or was not doing with my reply :D

But, are you SURE??? :D

Hosting in this biz is far too important to cheap out on it.

I always cringe when I see the spammers hitting the boards with their "Dirt Cheap Hosting" crap. Invariably there's a thread weeks or months later where that host has fucked up and sites are down :(

Newbies...don't buy into the whole "cheap hosting" pitch. Do some research...spend a few bucks and get a quality host. By comparison to just a few years ago, you can get a top line host these days for very reasonable prices |thumb

Buy and maintain your own servers is the best |thumb

it is funny how people won't look at hosting that cost a few bucks more a month, when i tried to sell for my host who is not cheap and doesn't even try to compete with thoose companies, lots of people i know who asked who i host with and were interested because of the great service i get suddenly were all saying, his hosting is like 5 bucks or so more than so and so, etc....but when the hurricane hit texas last year, where the servers are, we had 30K gallons of fuel with more on the way and a cat5 building & 24/7 tech guys living in the DC through the storm, never went down for a sec :D me personally i would never look for a cheap hosting deal or respond to a spam ad for hosting.
