NATS Question About Rebill Totals
As you can guess, I'm getting ready to do another stats run :)
Does anyone know if there is a way in NATS for an affiliate to get the number of rebills a specific signup/member generated? I clicked on everything I could find in the Summary & Detailed Stats areas, but I can't find it (assuming it does exist) |
There has to be a way to get the rebill data, because StatsRemote does it for NATS programs, but I sure don't see a way to get it from the NATS admin.
|
All I can find is the total number of rebills, which is not what I need :(
Example: if I run all time totals & see 10 signups & 5 rebills, was that 1 member rebilling 5 times? 5 members rebilling once each? Somewhere in the middle? |
I believe that information is...um...cough...shaved from the data.
Poke poke. Nudge nudge. Know what I mean... |

http://www.natsprogram.com/stats.php Then click: [ View Detailed Stats Reports ] You will be taken to this URL: http://www.natsprogram.com/stats_detailed.php There you will see a dropdown box and you have to pull the data by trials, no trials, console, no console...I wish you could just see it all at once, but for some reason you can't. It gives good detail though. Hope that helps. |

Make sure to include FACTS. |
Actually UW, there're probably enough records to pull out that info from the database, but affiliate stats are a whole other unerverse :)
The lack of retention stats for affiliates is present not only in NATS :) So far, I haven't seen a single (non-CCbill) system that says: you have 10 signups, 2 of them rebilled for 3 months or something like that, not to mention the fact that many stats system don't make any difference between conversion and rebill, so 3 rebills can actually mean 3 conversions from trial to monthly. You need to have the stats listed day by day and track manually what is what and in the end your calcs may not be 100% correct :) Andrew |

I've been told by others that the program can access this data, but then I'd have to go around to all of them & ask them to send me the data & trust that they'd not fudge the numbers when they sent it over (which I assume would be very tempting) so that's out the window. And it's not just NATS - I don't see this option in any of the programs I'm goring thru now, which sorta sucks from a stats publishing POV. I have to admit, CCBill is by far the best admin as far as revshare program's go - almost all the info you need is in there. |

I didn't ask for facts when you said this: Quote:
I meant it as a joke and I was speaking to GG and not directing towards any certain program. Don't be so damned paranoid. |
While we're building a nats wishlist, how about a detailed check breakdown? You know, things like
-processing % charged to the affiliate -check writing fees -other 'operating expenses' charged to the affiliate I like transparency :-) |

If processing checks really costs you $3.00 per, you're getting ripped off by your processing firm. |

Sad but true. |

That's great |thumb I wish that nats made those numbers transparent though. It would enhance affiliate confidence in the programs they promote. From what I've seen, there are so many variables, and this combined with a lack of disclosure might cause affiliates to distrust programs using nats. |

When we get the checks from the billing companies...that is when you see the 12-13% missing.|dizzy| |
No you can't, even as a program without looking at a individual user the rebill data you can't get a breakdown of length of rebills etc, just total processed that day...
Nats is awesome affiliate software, and it actually collects alot of data, now we just need to be able to have that data in more reports, which I'm told they are going to be adding them in the near future... :) |
